Eliza Scanlen was the best supporting performance this year ughJuly 16, 2019 at 9:09 am #1202977822
I guarantee you Huffman would’ve been nominated with the scandal if she submitted.

The nominations went pretty much as the GoldDerby odds said they would, with Chernobyl and When They See Us building momentum from their late releases, but I was relieved that Catch-22 was overrated in the odds.
I a little disappointed for the Maniac shutout and only the 2 program nominations for Black Mirror (not even writing this time), but I suspect Netflix isn’t too broken up about it, considering the immense WTSU haul.
I am relieved that Watson finally got the monkey off her back and managed a nomination, but I am really surprised that Qualley made it in from Fosse/Verdon and not Butz.July 16, 2019 at 9:12 am #1202977845
Nothing for The Haunting of Hill House sucks so much. It physically hurts me.
So happy for Chernobyl and Fosse/Verdon nominations.July 16, 2019 at 9:13 am #1202977860
Honeys ROFL! You laughed at me for saying Williams is winning Actress. Here you go, Fosse/Verdon surpassed Escape at Boremora in nominations count. She is winning and Patrick is winning Supporting as consolation. They don’t care about name-check, Clarkson isn’t winning shit, Sharp Objects underperformed and is going home Emmyless.July 16, 2019 at 9:14 am #1202977871
The Haunting of Hill House has ZERO nominations. Netflix just wasted a major contender.
Directing lineup is beyond terrible with the omission of Jean Marc Vallee and Mike Flanagan.
I knew George Clooney would not make the cut but wasn’t sure who would replace him.
When They See Us is winning.July 16, 2019 at 9:15 am #1202977880
Yaaaaaas for Alfie Allen!!!! Best actor on the show and this should have come seasons ago!July 16, 2019 at 9:16 am #1202977896
I’m glad that game is over for NatGeo.July 16, 2019 at 9:17 am #1202977898
every parent getting nommed for WTSU is my tea. Wow. I feel a sweep coming!July 16, 2019 at 9:18 am #1202977910
Tough day for people declaring Fosse/Verdon to be a “niche” show. That “niche” was right up the industry’s alley of course.
Williams vs Arquette.
Jared Harris vs Jerome.
Whishaw hurt badly by the AVES snub in series so Michael Williams likely wins as the WTSU win.
Clarkson vs Watson

And she probably would’ve won. Felicity, you criminal, why did you do this to yourself and us?
She could’ve been petty and submitted herself anyway! People would still vote for her.

Vote splitting is going to be so real for WTSU, especially since in the supporting categories there’s no undeniable performance.
Series – my gut says When They See Us, but I’m going with Chernobyl right now.
Actress – Michelle Williams. Period.
Actor – Jared Harris (Jerome as an alternate)
Supporting Actress – Patricia Arquette (Clarkson as an alternate)
Supporting Actor – Paul Dano
