I’m so excited. Anyone know how many episodes it will have?April 11, 2019 at 2:09 pm #1202848503This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.April 11, 2019 at 4:22 pm #1202848596
I’m so ready for this. Zendaya is about to prove all the haters wrong with her performance (her voice sounds so different here OMG). As someone who has a family member that is an addict, the show is already a good job accurately portraying how it really is.May 11, 2019 at 11:32 am #1202889139
The official trailer is finally out for Euphoria, which premieres next month on June 16. What are our thoughts?
Zendaya’s performance continues to look like the best part of this for me!! She will definitely get a Golden Globe nomination at the least.May 11, 2019 at 12:05 pm #1202889162
I am actually very curious about this one. Why are people hating on it before it even started?May 11, 2019 at 1:28 pm #1202889204
I’m sorry to say that for all the hopeful, but seeing the early reactions to this show makes me think it’s already doomed regardless of how it’ll be. Everything lives and dies by the internet these days.
Anyway I’m totally in for thisMay 11, 2019 at 1:47 pm #1202889222

where have you seen early reactions?May 11, 2019 at 1:55 pm #1202889229

I don’t even mean early reaction the way you think- it’s just ever since HBO announced this show peopled doomed it to be “trash”. Once this wheel started turning there’s no stopping that, no matter how good the show will be.
A similar case was The Leftovers, Damon Lindelöf’s 2nd show after “Lost”. People doomed it as “trash” before it aired so the first season got shitty ratings everywhere. Only god knows how they got their reception completely turned around in the 2nd season, when the show started getting the reviews it always deservedMay 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm #1202889233
Realistically, what do you guys think of the awards prospects of this show? I’ll probably tune in but to me, it just looks like a well done teen drama and not an amazing prestige tv show.May 11, 2019 at 3:11 pm #1202889294

A GG nomination for zendaya is most likely. Dont think it will translate to anything beyond that.June 4, 2019 at 9:05 am #1202923216
First reviews are starting to come out for Euphoria and the show is definitely gonna be controversial, but oh boy I am very curious to watch.
Zendaya’s performance is getting critical acclaim (which I was expecting), so she’s definitely coming for that Golden Globe nomination 😉June 6, 2019 at 11:16 am #1202925991
If this turns out to be great, I hope an awards run isn’t out of the question due to a YA bias.
Zendaya is definitely a lock for a Golden Globe nomination at the very least. I could see the show also being nominated at the Globes if reviews continue to be strong and it creates a lot of buzz. I would personally LOVE for Z to get an Emmy nomination next year a la Claire Danes for My So-Called Life. Not now
