Mother’s Mercy is probably her best, but everything else that happens in the episode (“you need a bad p****” and Myrcella’s death, the butchery of Stannis’ storyline) drags the amazing King’s Landing sequence down.

Baby, I had to learn to compartmentalize with this show to not lose my fucking mind. So,  cringey writing aside, Lena owns MM.

Darlings, even though I thought she was undeniable for The Winds of Winter, I was so mad when she lost for Mother’s Mercy, too. I mean, what the hell? A person who watches Game of Thrones and decides to vote for another supporting actress should be brought into an asylum for life.

Also, she was Emmy-worthy last year in The Dragon and the Wolf, too. She’s a hell of an actress.

They should just give her an award for every single episode, because honestly, that’s what she deserves.

Darling, you just talk about facts. I think Lena Headey owned season 4 like a boss and season 5 was carried by her arms. Season 6 and 7 were freaking outstanding for her, too. Season 1 was so good for her (especially the scenes with Mark Addy and Sean Bean) and she should have gotten a nod at least. She’s been Emmy-worthy since season 2 to be honest. Even when she appeared in season 8 she DELIVERED. I’m just gonna send my troops and leave GoldDerby if Emmy voters behave as dumb as they have been behaving with her until now.

The Queen’s Justice! I not only loved Headey’s dungeon scene as Cersei gets revenge for her daughter’s murder, but Diana Rigg was equally as strong in Olenna’s confession and pre-death scene. One of my favorite “Game of Thrones” episodes.

I hope Emmy finally finds its way into Lena’s hands – better late than never.

This is kind of impossible to choose lol. I think I’d go with Winds of Winter but (and I forget the name of the episode) one of my favorite scenes of hers is when she tells Tywin about her and Jamie and then she goes and tells Jamie that she told Tywin. I rewatch those scenes a lot. But I pretty much adore everything she’s done throughout the show.

Darling, The Queen’s Justice could have been a very strong tape for her at the Emmys last year. Her scenes with Ellaria Sand and her daughter are top-notch acting. I think she finally went with The Dragon of the Wolf for her amount of screentime and it was a very good choice, too.

Winds of winter takes the cake. But i feel like people overlook s1. Her exchanges with Mark Addy are gold. Esp the ”7 seven kingdom’s couldn’t fill the hole” scene.
