100% this. I thought FOR SURE she’d choose that one. No idea what went wrong there.

I’m starting to think that she did that as a strategy so she could win in Lead. I know this is a stupid thing to think about, but what other reason would explain this poor submission?! Anyone who watched The Act knows that episode 4 and 5 were her best.

It’s plain delusional to predict Chernobyl to win nothing. These so-called experts.. 🤡

Think it’s winning Limited Series, Actor and maybe Skarsgard

I could see Ali winning Actor. True Detective doesn’t have much heat but the fact that he won two Oscars in 3 years will probably be enough to make some people watch. For what it’s worth, he’s great in it too.

I think Chernobyl is better written and better directed series. Hope it wins.

But When They See Us has better narrative write now.

Probably will go rogue for Chernobyl sweep and won’t get any points.

The Chernobyl/WTSU stan war is hella annoying. Can we be happy no matter which miniseries wins the big one?

Yes, you can be, and other people can choose to root for one over the other. It’s not a big deal.

Predicting “When They See Us” for Limited Series and above-the-line categories, and “Chernobyl” for technical achievements. One has “heart” that the acting branch will gravitate toward in wins, while the other’s cold and clinical nature is usually what wins out in tech categories. Pitting one against the other is childish when both are significant works of art. We should be glad that Limited Series is as strong as it is this year, since that’s not always the case whatsoever.

I would be fine if either wins. Masterpieces both. Although I would be much more happier if Chernobyl wins because it hits closer to where I come from. Also

Woah, speak for yourself though. Chernobyl is not ‘cold and clinical’. Clinical in direction maybe but not ‘cold’. Just because it was not made to be over-sensationalized with people crying and screaming left and right doesn’t mean it doesn’t have ‘heart’. There are understated moving moments aplenty in Chernobyl; sacrifices, heroic, altruistic, camaraderie sentiments.

I’m clearly “speaking for my damn self” while offering final predictions. You don’t have to read them, and you certainly don’t have to agree. Next.

Darlings, Fatty Arquette is winning Lead Actress (or maybe Sharpy Adams), Convicted Del Toro will win Lead Actor, Sovietic Skarsgard will win Supporting Actor and Classy Clarkson is winning Supporting Actress. That’s it. Mark my Holy words. It’s happening.

Any word on which show wins the miniseries, prime minister? Del Toro for lead actor? What a strange choice. I thought it could have gone to anyone on that category but Del Toro.

I do not consider lead actor sealed with Jerome.

Yeah, Jerome is so young and he’s not really a true lead in the same way as the recent young winners we’ve seen in this category.

When They See Us is an ensemble piece and it felt like he just happened to have the most screen time because he played the teenage and adult Korey.

Although Ellis and Nash being put in lead is even more confusing to me.

Darling, Chernobyl is winning. Convicted Del Toro will upset and Fatty Arquette is sweeping.
