Is Olivia Colman in this season?

Scott joins the returning ensemble from Season 1, which includes breakout star and creator Waller-Bridge, multi-BAFTA-winner Olivia Colman…

Is this show really worth the binge? I never saw it, but the 1st season got zero Emmy nominations and the IMDB scores don’t look like anything impressive. On the other hand, Fleabag does have some truly passionate fans and with each episode being under a half hour it looks like such an easy binge for me purely in regards to time. I’ve never seen Killing Eve, so this would be the first show from Phoebe Waller-Bridge I have ever seen. Guest2018 hated this, and he hated Legion like me, but then again he also hated The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which I really enjoyed a lot. I don’t know, does anyone think this show is a masterpiece or really worth my time of day in this era of #TooMuchTV? I can’t help but ask because of the acclaim it received.

It’s an amazing show. It’s worth the wait and only gets better as you keep watching. The performances are fantastic and the writing is amazing. Also, I doubt Guest2018 actually watched the show.

He never confirmed if he did or not. I loved Olivia Colman in The Night Manager, that’s what turned me onto her as an actor in general. Is this show more of a drama, a comedy, or both? It looks quirky and funny, but also kind of depressing. Is that right? Also, does the show start off super boring? Like I said, the fact each episode isn’t an hour only makes me want to binge it more, because it would be easy to knock out in about a solid 3 hours.

It starts off good, gets better. The show is many things but boring is not one of them. It’s an easy binge. It is very comedic but takes a very dark, dramatic turn, nontheless staying hilarious.

I am so freaking glad I didn’t look up any spoilers then! Thank you for recommending it, Hunter. I’ll be sure to put in on my list as a priority.

It starts off hilarious, but quickly you see the comedy get darker and darker and then in the final half of the final episode there is no comedy. The final episode is the best by far and is well worth the wait. British comedy seems to permeate really hateful villains. This Country is another British show that is killer. Colman and Waller-Bridge are amazing actors but I would say Colman is the better of the two. Both deserved nominations as well as writing and series at least. I binged it because it was an easy watch, much like Crashing, Waller-Bridge’s other show.
