So Cobra Kai is on the Sony Pictures Television FYC page, but not in the Netflix one ? How does that works ?

    HBO: https://www.hbofyc.com/home

Oh an I May Destroy You Q&A with Michaela Coel hosted by Bill Hader!

It’s interesting how you can decipher what HBO’s priorities for each of their show’s are with the FYC material they publish (a bit like with Netflix on the film side). Like how the Perry Mason FYC page has a bunch of Q&As with Matthew Rhys or The Undoing one features Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant getting interviewed by other actors.

So Cobra Kai is on the Sony Pictures Television FYC page, but not in the Netflix one ? How does that works ?

It’s actually on both (like The Politician is on Disney Television Studios’ FYC and Netflix’s because it’s produced by 20th Century Fox). Cobra Kai is produced by Sony Picture Television for Netflix.

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

    This compilation is great, thanks!

So, someone correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems that the Netflix, CBS and Starz websites are the only ones that specify the categories and submissions of the cast, right?

Love how Disney’s FYC (when the show’s page) has “Must See Episode” feature and all of the positive press.

Emmys FYC | Alan Tudyk in “Resident Alien” | Billie Piper in “I Hate Suzie” | Ego Nwodim in “Saturday Night Live” | Kaley Cuoco in “Harley Quinn” | “Dickinson” | “P-Valley” | “Pose” | “Superstore”

“Cobra Kai” is on the Netflix FYC site.

And FYI~ Sony is the Production company for “Cobra Kai”, not Netflix, so that’s why it’s on their site as well.

Why is I Hate Suzie missing from their page?

Why is I Hate Suzie missing from their page?

It is perplexing. They did campaign for it for SAG (and I assume the creators stopped by Gold Derby during awards season to do an interview for a reason lol).

My guess is either they haven’t put everything they’re submitting on their page yet (like Netflix usually does early on) or it’s going to be ruled ineligible in drama  or completely. My guess is if it’s the latter that we’ll be hearing about this very soon.

Interesting how An American Pickle isn’t listed either (although have HBO Max submitted that for anything at all?)

They literally gave it a small page in their FYC booklet without any category submission details lol.

Do any websites other than Netflix have categories and submissions

    EMMY FYC

The Crown in all categories (inc. Olivia Colman & Gillian Anderson)

I May Destroy You, It’s a Sin, Stateless & The Queens Gambit

Kate Winslet, Keeley Hawes, Shaun Parkes, Marielle Heller, Michaela Coel

Ted Lasso & The Flight Attendant in all categories.

    Still waiting for FX.

FX’s FYC website has updated. Maybe it is still working out some things like in past years, but there are so far a few interesting placements: Black Narcissus in limited series, Jason Schwartzman as lead on Fargo, and Angelica Ross as the only guest submission for Pose.

I’m still trying to open it and it’s not letting me lol.

Once again the TV Movie category becomes more barren.
