God you’re an asshole. Are you really calling my a misogynist because I don’t think Daenerys is a great character? She was great in Season 1 and Season 3 and was alright in Season 4, but ever since the start of Season 5, she’s been almost entirely about shock and awe, poor political decisions, and pressing her claim from the Mad King to an entire continent while crushing all who refuse to support her. The only awesome thing about her in the past 3 seasons is her dragons and her magical powers (and getting the best music in the show). The character herself has been mediocre at best during that time. Also, my favorite character in the show is Margaery. My second-favorite is Yara. My third-favorite is Arya. My fourth-favorite is Olenna. My fifth-favorite is Brienne. My sixth-favorite is Sansa. Disliking your personal favorite character doesn’t mean I hate women on the show.
Wow, that’s an argument. Insulting. Groundbreaking.April 19, 2019 at 11:45 pm #1202859608
So you’re willing to dish out insults but you’re not willing to take them? And you are just going to ignore the rest of my post and only respond to tiny parts of them?April 19, 2019 at 11:54 pm #1202859612
What makes you think that someone would consider continuing a conversation with you after:
1) You called them assholes
2) Use a faulty logic to validate your own insults.
It would seem logical for people who know how to behave in a forum, but I guess that’s not your case. Keep typing whatever you want, for some reason you need the attention. Let’s keep you on ignore.April 20, 2019 at 12:03 am #1202859619
And you think i’m gonna address someone who thinks Sansa Stark (of all people) or 8 other characters (male or female… it makes no difference) are “better” than Dany. Were do I even begin? Like… he must be clearly trolling.
He even included Lynna fucking Mormont…. I have no words lmfao!
Hilarious!April 20, 2019 at 12:12 am #1202859622

You won’t see this because you put me on ignore, but I only called you an asshole after you called me a misogynist for disliking your favorite character. If you think calling people misogynists just for disliking a single character you like is how one should behave in a forum, you have a problem.April 20, 2019 at 12:24 am #1202859627
Some people like Daenerys, some don’t. I personally think she is one of the best characters on the show. There is no need to fight over it, especially when the coming few weeks are going to spark bigger debates regarding such things.April 20, 2019 at 12:28 am #1202859631

I fully agree with your post. My posts revolve around the fact that her popularity did not come out of nowhere. I mean, there are parents even naming their baby girls Khaleesi (good luck explaining that one in 20 years). Never would I care about trying to convert people and pledge for House Targaryen; I do take my explanations on why the character means so much for so many seriously, though.April 20, 2019 at 1:11 am #1202859659
Episode 3’s plot was leaked, which is really annoying, but Twitter will explode.April 20, 2019 at 2:43 am #1202859734
That’s just so sad. All these people go through so much work to create an incredible episode and then it’s ruined by things like this.
Emmys 2019 FYC: Lena Headey ("Game of Thrones"), Cicely Tyson ("HTGAWM"), Viola Davis ("HTGAWM"), Richard Madden ("Bodyguard"), "Bodyguard," "The Haunting of Hill House" & "Escape at Dannemora" in all categoriesApril 20, 2019 at 7:17 am #1202859896
For those in charge, anyone is for the idea of opening prediction center for survival of characters in the Battle of Winterfell in the coming week?
I think it could be really interesting, pretty much all the characters on the show except Cersei will be thereApril 20, 2019 at 7:20 am #1202859898

They keep on making up these leaks. The leaks for episode 1 were remotely accurate.
Give some reasoning why. I personally don’t think she’s even in the top 8 female characters in Game of Thrones (Margaery, Yara, Arya, Olenna, Brienne, Sansa, Cersei, and Lyanna Mormont are all better).
LOL at you citing Lyanna, Yara, Olenna over Daenerys. Those characters are all one-note cardboard characters. They’re all conventional characters played greatly by their actors, but they are not as complex and unique as Daenerys. Is there another character out there in other media that resembles her? She is literally Alexander the Great with Genghis Khan army, but female. Just because she’s designated as a heroine doesn’t mean she has to be purely good, honorable, and true. Like all the main characters of the show, she also has to commit mistakes in order to learn. I think Daenerys is not yet fully formed as a character. She will probably fack up one more time before her redemption arc. I expect the same with Tyrion.April 20, 2019 at 7:36 am #1202859908
Danaerys is the character who has evolve the most on the show and it is a bigger character in the books, the only other character, male or female, that came close is Arya. Cersei is one dimensional character that is interpreted by a very good actress. Sansa’s show is pure fan-service that don’t make sense 90% of the time, book Sansa is much more interesting because GRRM don’t pretend that it is a saint character. In the books Sansa betrayed her father and is the primary responsible for the death of all the Stark crew when she revealed to Cersei Ned’s plan to send the girls to interfell with the majority of the staff. At this point in the books and in the published chapters from The Winds of Winters Sansa is whoring herself to seduce Harrold Hardyng, the heir of The Vale, she’s also helping Littlefinger to kill Robin Arryn.

I don’t that’s an accurate summary of book Sansa. Remember, she was a naive girl who did things that were not deliberate (as opposed to the greatest girl character in literature, Briony in Atonement). She is seducing Harrold as her first step to getting The Vale. All the characters at this point in the book were in their “training phases” – Sansa in Eyrie, Arya in Braavos, and Bran under the tree.
