I was about to say up that, ironically, Clarke and Harington have stronger chemistry when they aren’t near each other, until that final scene. For once, they actually had chemistry with all that tension and anger.

I agree, at best they should’ve been written as political allies, or well, rivals.

The writing in this episode is better than the two that won the Emmy for seasons 5 and 6. Bryan Cogman needs to be recognized for his work in GoT.

FYC: Drama Series: Game of Thrones, Comedy Series: Barry, Limited Series: Chernobyl, Drama Lead Actor: Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Drama Lead Actress: Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Drama Directing: Miguel Sapochnik for The Long Night (Game of Thrones), Drama Writing: Jed Mercurio for Episode 1 (Bodyguard)

I wonder how Lena wins the Emmy if she’s only in 4 episodes. Assuming that Arya actually kills her in episode 5 having Jamie’s face on. They’re such idiots. Her absence was more than visible. This episode was a great improvement though from last week’s mediocre mess. Grade: B+

Why would you assume that would happen. Unless it’s a part of a leak or something. If that’s the case, keep that information to yourself please. Or make a separate thread to discuss potential leaks.

I mean all she needs now is that one scene to seal the deal. She shines when KL is the focus, so, I guess 4 episodes is fine since the last three will be geared towards that. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t needed for all six so she can own everyone.

Whatever gets that Targaryen heir and melodrama up, I guess.

The Crypts would be the last place I’d like to be while the WW are attacking Winterfell…I wonder if Arya was running from Ned’s bones in the trailer.

What an amazing episode. Huge step up from last week. I lost it when Brienne was knighted by Jamie. I ship them so hard lol. Sansa telling Dany not to mess with the North was everything. Turner was great in that scene. Not a huge fan of seeing Arya naked lol, feels like watching my younger sister, but her and Gendry are cute. Still felt out of character though. Tyrion is so turning on Dany btw. And finally, the reveal from Jon to Dany was great. Kit and Emilia were both really good here. And it’s such a sign that Dany immediately jumped to Jon having a claim to the throne instead of talking about how she’s sleeping with her nephew.

MVP: Gwendoline and Nikolaj. Special shout out to Turner though.

    Definitely missed Cersei.

It’s been a widely discussed theory for years. Sister Paulsonalypse would be one of the last people on here to ruin the show for others.

My God, I loved this episode. Infinitely better than the season premiere. Sor Brienne, Podrick singing, the reunion of Sansa and Theon … Amazing.

I can’t be the only one who hates Theon, right? I mean, the north remembers. Would not be here for him and Sansa getting together.

The episode is called: “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.”

Rotten Tomatoes currently has it at 96% (should honestly be a hundred but IndieWire is back at it again). Metacritic is still gathering up it’s numbers with the two lowest being 58 and 60.

Jeez, that ”The Rightful Queen” crap was never believable. Even with this right title I can’t buy we’re saying goodbye to Bri-Bri. Denial mode enters. It was surely well-done. And the last ‘calm’ episode we’ll ever get in this show. With bloody aftermaths, even the finale will have some shocks.

    A Cersei-less episode is a meaningless one.

”The Rains of Castamere”, ”The Dance of Dragons”, ”The Door” and ”Battle of the Bastards” say hi.
Now, being serious, it’s OK she missed. It actually follows a trend where we have an episode in which she doesn’t appear because heavy plots are being cooked or a huge Cersei moment is coming.
