It would not have been that bad if they had ended with the invention of pseudo democracy. Bran being king should have been part of the Stark montage.

    Darlings, I’m disgusted.

Thatcher, please, come back for Oscars season…

And a minute of silence for that whole “Jon is the true heir”… maybe they kinda forgot it was a major revelation and plot point in the last two seasons

I could see it happening in the books though. Jon going back to the NW mirrored the fate of Aemon Targaryen. He was also next in line to be king but did not want it. The endings of Jon and Dany were definitely from GRRM.

I wanted Mad Lady Gaga to stay on the Iron Throne to be honest. That death was… disgusting.

Peter Dinklage is a phenomenal actor but he’s too much on screen. Sophie Turner needed more screentime and more to do to be honest. She’s probably the most consistent actor left on this last episode. I feel Brienne of Tarth, Podrick and Davos should have died in Episode 3.

Bran’s twist is reasonable but not what we deserved. Jon Snow going back to the Night’s Watch? Reasonable but… reductive. I think I have to digest this…

PS: Queens Gaga and Cersei better get those Emmys.

Lena Headey hasn't got an Emmy for Game of Thrones????? Emmys you need to win her right now!!

I just saw the episode and… I absolutely agree with this, darling.

I decided to retire after this Emmy season. It was a hard decision, but I can’t go back.

I hope Dinklage still submits episode 5. He was good here, but much better last week.

And I seriously don’t know what people want anymore. I expected the final episode of the show to be divisive but it escalates each week, and I don’t see why. This is clrearly the best episode of the season IMO, and top 10 of the series as a whole

Mad Lady Gaga. Respect. A laugh in the middle of all this nonsense.

This finale was mediocre. Once again, no character motivations, nothing. Things just happened, because the writers wanted them to happen. The character arcs were zilch and dramatically, it was a boring mess. And why have a 80-minute finale when you have a story that can be told in 25 minutes?

I thought this finale was great, and in defense of Bran becoming the king. My takeaway wasn’t that he was king, it was the fact that it has become a democracy. As Tyrion states, from now on they will elect the best ruler. Not just have a king’s son rule the throne.

And yes, they were building up Jon’s narrative for seasons, at the beginning of the episode the Imp was convincing him he was the right one to be king, then five minutes later the Imp decided it was a random character who was right for the throne. And why were these elders asking the Imp who was a prisoner and considered a traitor in the first place? Just because. Everything about this finale is so random.

Well, that’s GoT for you… you go from being on trial/questioned to deciding the ruler of the continent. It’s not even funny; please share memes guys
