The Plot Against America collecting directing, writing and lead actor nominations! I’m sure it was 6th in series too. Happy with how many people saw Years and Years. Dunst in lead actress over Colman is a great surprise. Wish these were the actual Emmy nominations…

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

Loved the inclusion of Emmy snubbed Daisy Edgar Jones, Hong Chau and Josh O’Connor. So many others that weren’t that close to being nominated as well.

A little disappointed with the snubs of Zoe Kazan and Lenny Abrahamson, considering their shows did extremely well with noms and both were the best things about them.

Overall, not bad at all. I’d take these over the Emmy nominations any day.

Sleiman made it in! Little America snubbed everywhere else tho 😤

Some very good decisions but also some atrocious ones. Cate Blanchett getting snubbed is absolutely ridicolous. I’m sorry. Specially considering some of the people that got in instead. Uzo getting in over Rose Byrne also shocked me a lot.

No Issa Rae, yet Jay Ellis and Yvonne Orji, writing, and comedy series make it in? That snub is ridiculous.

Love seeing the recognition for “The Plot Against America,” particularly Morgan Spector. Zoe Kazan should have been nominated alongside him.

the nominations for euphoria (particularly hunter Schafer and directing) are just *chef’s kiss*

I think Rae, Wever and Blanchett were snubbed because mostly people were like “Oh they will for sure be nominated, so I’ll vote for somebody else”.

That’s why we should just vote for our favorites, no matter if its the frontrunner or not — which is why I like the unlimited Emmy ballot, it prevents (most of the times) these kind of shenanigans.

I love it, I love it, I love it, but I also have my problems with it.

Nicole Kidman is amazing in Moulin Rouge!

The film won the Golden Globe and the PGA for Best Motion Picture
