Sad the series reached its artistic peak in season 5 once the hype and hysteria went away. Whatever happens now is entirely bittersweet.

Excellent review! First three episodes all sound intriguing and contrasting in tones. Can’t wait to see what they have Riz Ahmed and Matthew Rhys doing here. Quite sad that this is the final season when it doesn’t have to be, but at least the series is ending on a high note. The Emmys will never give Lena Dunham her proper due, but I have to look beyond that now. I can’t watch on Sunday night due to the Grammys and BAFTAs (sigh), but I’ll be sure to review the season premiere soon afterwards.

HBO will do a large push. And passionate devotees of the series will rally around it. Not sure how far it can go in actually winning the categories it shows up in. I know from the cast who I wouldn’t mind winning. The daughter of Brian Williams. She’s really underrated in the ensemble.

What a grest episode! The writing was amazing. One of the best comedy writing episodes of the season. The directing was great too. And the acting! Wow! Riz Ahmed was great. He should be on the Emmy radar. Another great thing about this episode is how it so perfectly blended drama, comedy, and great advice on life with each other. One of the shows best episodes! A+
