Glee will be ending its run this winter in a midseason slot with 13 episodes and production has resumed according to Lea Michele and Darren Criss on twitter. TV Guide has recieved some new information for Season 6:August 27, 2014 at 4:35 pm #330457
If only they could get back to the witty sharp writing of the first season for these final episodes…August 27, 2014 at 4:47 pm #330458
Rachel as glee club leader……..LOVE that. The fact that the article doesn’t mention if the others are still living in NY is worrying though. I liked what they did in NY for the most part. I feel like they are going to make mercedes and sam endgame and Schuster is going to be in charge of the warblers or vocal adrenaline.August 27, 2014 at 5:16 pm #330459
Oh sweet baby Jesus, this thing just refuses to die with anything resembling dignity doesn’t it?August 27, 2014 at 5:20 pm #330460
I am sort of happy they are scraping the LA stories. 3 different locations would have been a mess. I am a big fan of the show and am one of those fans that enjoy the show for the heck of it not because it is the best show on TV, I have accepted that it isn’t anymore since season 4 but I think one of my biggest frustrations with the show is how they ended Season 4. They ended it in a time pause and all of season 5 was a big time jumping mess that they really need to pull out a calander to let the audience know what month, year, day it is because I’m even lost. It will be interesting how the end the show especially with only 13 episodes. Shows with big ensembles I feel like longer time to close stories like I think True Blood needed a few more episodes really to close story lines. But I REALLY hope Sue is involved alot this season. Jane Lynch is really the best part of the show and always has been so I really hope they give her alot to do. I think some of the writers checked out after 3 and Murphy shifted focus to American Horror Story and at the time New Normal.August 28, 2014 at 8:59 am #330461
I feel like they got lost in the graduation season.September 2, 2014 at 9:16 pm #330462
First episode is titled “Loser Like Me” (an ode to their first original song they made in Season 2)
Love these song choices I hope they come out wellSeptember 2, 2014 at 11:34 pm #330463
Hmmmmmm…interesting list. Of course it is Rachel and Blaine that get most of the songs – I really hope they give other people a chance to shine this season. I am growing very tired of Darren Criss, and Lea Michele is heading that way soon.
Uninvited – Meh. This song is alright and will fit Rachel well.
Suddenly Seymour – It was only a matter of time before they covered a song from Little Shop of Horrors. The context they use it in will be very interesting. I don’t think it will be bad, but it does ruin my hopes that Sue would sing “Mean Green Mother”
Sing – am I the only one getting tired the The Warblers? They have no personality and are so cold. This is such an obvious song for them to sing, and I knew Glee would cover it eventually, but I just wish it wasn’t by the clinical Warblers.
Dance the Night Away – This is VA under Will, so it will be interesting to see him bring the heart to VA’s insane performance skills.
Karma Chameleon – I love it when Glee does a classic song from decades ago. I sometimes think they will ruin it, but like they showed with “Werewolves of London” last season, they can be pretty good. Not sure about Rachel singing it though
Let It Go – Who wants to spell it with me? O-B-V-I-O-U-S-L-Y There was absolutely no way Glee was going to end before Lea Michele sang Let It Go. Just no way.
I am hoping Sue gets to shine this season, and that those dreadful new kids (Unique, Marley, Ryder, Jake) are gone. This season should concentrate on the core cast from the first season. If Glee just brought the same heart and quirkiness that it did in the first two seasons, it will revert to being a great show. Just pay more attention to writing and let other people shine instead of Lea Michele and Darren Criss.September 3, 2014 at 6:14 am #330464
Yeah Let it Go was pretty predictable. I am so happy they are doing Karma Chameleon and Sing and Suddenly Seymour. I haven’t listened to the others before. I just want Sue to sing “If I Could Turn Back Time” or something by Cher by the end of the series. And they casted new kids for the school so I have no idea how many episodes they will focus on McKinley (hopefully not too much). They just need to write enough for Sue to get that final nomination for Supporting Actress. She has come back in before I hope she can do it againSeptember 3, 2014 at 8:07 am #330465
Great song choices! Excited especially for the Vocal Adrenaline one!September 3, 2014 at 8:09 am #330466

I don’t mind new kids, its just that last batch of new kids were awful IMO (with the exception of Becca Tobin, who did the best she could)September 3, 2014 at 8:29 am #330467
I think singing wise they are all great but I personally loved Blake Jenner because of The Glee Project they just could of written him better. Same with Marley wow they wrote her poorly. She is so talented though.September 3, 2014 at 9:01 am #330468
I liked all the new kids but have this feeling that when we revist them this season that damn love triangle might still be in existance or reinvigorated.September 3, 2014 at 9:18 am #330469
Hopefully they won’t focus too much on it. That’s why it pains me that they are only doing 13 episodes because they have many stories to close in little timeSeptember 3, 2014 at 9:34 am #330470

Agreed. This show is always too ambitious. That ambition worked in season one but after a while it got the best of them.
