Golden Globe voters are very unpredictable in all categories .
Will they recognize The Good Place with a nomination after a good second season ?
Will they recognize Smith and Kirby with a nomination in their last season of the Crown?November 27, 2017 at 11:22 am #1202422183
Can we have The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in the predictions center?November 27, 2017 at 8:31 pm #1202422560
Discount and discredit The Good Place at your own peril, folks…November 28, 2017 at 1:48 am #1202422722
This discussion convinced me to take out Liev Schreiber and replace him with Jonathan Groff. I am still predicting Bob Odenkirk at the moment, but I am wavering on whether or not to replace him or Jason Bateman with Ian McShane or Brendan Gleeson. Tough category for me!November 28, 2017 at 1:57 am #1202422725
Why is The Young Pope still in the predictions center? It came out on HBO last year, so how is it eligible for this years Globes?November 28, 2017 at 3:44 am #1202422788

It aired on HBO in January earlier this year.
Actually according to IMDB, a reliable source for show airdates, the last episode aired on “November 18, 2016.” I thought it aired the fall of last year and it appears I was correct.November 28, 2017 at 8:41 am #1202423187

I was looking to add Rachel Brosnahan to my predictions but couldn’t find her. I assume it will be competing in comedy, no?
I’ve gotten so wrapped up in the Oscar race this year I have been neglecting my TV predictions. Need to get back to it!November 28, 2017 at 8:53 am #1202423206
Haven’t listened to any of the slugfests yet but is anyone else considering the possibility that both GOT and Veep are snubbed? I just dropped Veep and am pretty shaky on GOT. I don’t have actors from either program making it in. These are just so damn hard to predict, especially those supporting categories.November 28, 2017 at 9:51 am #1202423274
Yes, is posible to see Emmy Winners dropped and Sterling could be one of them.November 28, 2017 at 11:50 am #1202423441
I have Game of Thrones out of my predictions, but Veep is still there.November 28, 2017 at 12:03 pm #1202423449
It seems like not predicting James Franco, Jonathan Groff, Ian McShane, Jasan Bateman is out of the question therefore I don’t know if I should keep Bob Odenkirk. He has buzz for “The Post” and the third season of BCS was very well received. Plus, without him AMC will not be nominated at all however they won three acting awards last year. Yet, how long can he stand without winning.November 29, 2017 at 5:51 pm #1202425069
Why is The marvelous Mrs. Maisel not in the Prediction Center. Rachel Brosnahan should second to Debra Messing (she would be first only W&G has the whole Golden Globe streak thing) It’s the first season of a awesome new comedy by writers who have been Long overlooked by the award circuit, not to mention Rachel Brosnahan is brilliant in the role. She is literally a recipe for a Golden Globe win, it’s almost mirroring CW Rachel Bloom and Gina Rodriguez.
