What are the odds Hugh Laurie gets nominated for Chance? The Globes absolutely love him and he didn’t need to get nominated last year because he had The Night Manager. If they want to nominate him again Chance is his best shot.

He has no chance for Chance. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/bastard-machine/critics-notebook-no-chance-how-a-hulu-series-starring-hugh-laurie-disappeared-before-your-eyes-1062764

No James Franco and Jason Bateman in both Critics Choice and Satellite awards, prepare for their well deserved snubs in the Golden Globes.

Ian McShane, Brendan Gleeson, Jonathan Groff and Liev Schreiber could surprise the monday´s morning.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is not in the Critics Choice nominations, but she is in the Satellite Awards, she is a lock.

Sharon Stone, Garrett Hedlund, Alfre Woodard, and Kristen Bell will announce the 75th Golden Globes’ nominees.

Two of those four are getting nommed Monday. Do I even need to predict WHICH two? 😀 😀 😀

Now that BLL is officially renewed I hope HFPA puts them in the Drama categories. They are less than 90 members and they can change their votes in this weekend very easily. Or at least not nominate them in the Limited Series categories.

Ugh, who am I kidding? They already engraved Kidman’s name on that trophy.

It would be very injustice to other nominees. This shouldn’t be used as a strategy by networks.

I agree it is disgusting on HBO’s part to announce it just before the votings have ended at both SAG and HFPA.

PGA officially changed Big Little Lies’ category placement to Drama series from Limited series AFTER their voting started. Hopefully, others follow this suit as well.

Reached for comment on Friday night, an HBO spokesperson said that HBO does not agree with that decision.

    LOL, of course, they wouldn’t.

The HFPA probably won’t do anything but I hope they do as I would love to see Nicole Kidman vs. Elisabeth Moss. (Also 2 opens slots in Limited Series Actress might mean a Michelle Dockery nomination :D)

I don’t see why we’re all 100% BLL S2 will sumbit as drama series. The second season will air at earliest spring 2019, 2 years after S1, and if they’re not sure about their plans (whether they’ll go for S3 onwards), I think the possibility is high for them submitting again as limited series. See Judi Dench-starring miniseries Cranford, for example.
