If Cuoco wins over Colman then Colman would know what Glenn Close felt.

    I don’t get your point.

Comedy actors winning over prestige actors?

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

Could we be underestimating Cuoco for the win in drama? I feel like she’s the only person who isn’t Colman who can win that category.

    I’m thinking the same

I think Smollett could definitely win, especially if they nominate LC in series.

Smollett could win but I don’t know something feels off about Lovecraft‘s buzz. I think it will probably get into Series and the two acting categories but I just don’t feel like Smollett is strong enough to win (and she was my MVP of the show).

Watch out for Jonathan Majors though. IMO the Actor race is a head to head between him and Rhys.

Maybe not but the Globes often go for the fresh new face. Colman and Cuoco don’t really fit that bill.

Did Sandra Oh, Elisabeth Moss, Taraji P. Henson, Ruth Wilson and Claire Danes fit that bill either?

Kaley Cuoco fits the bill perfectly, I’m very interested to see how she does.
It’s not like her work on TBBT was super recognized

    For Your Emmy Consideration:
Matthew Rhys for "Perry Mason" as Leading Actor in a Drama Series
Ethan Hawke for "The Good Lord Bird" as Leading Actor in a Limited Series
Elizabeth Olsen and Kathryn Hahn for "Wandavision" as Leading and Supporting actress in Limited Series
Tobias Menzies for "The Crown" as Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
MJ Rodriguez for "Pose" as Leading Actress in a Drama Series.

Genius: Aretha will debut in 2021 so it’s ineligible.

Praise the lord. That actress category did not need any more contenders.

If Respect gets delayed again expect Genius to miss the 2021 Emmy season…

There are already so many that are eligible for the 2021 Emmys never mind those from this year lol.

Smollett been a known thespian since Full House in the 80s and had a her “real” breakthrough (and Oscar buzz) in/for Eve’s Bayou in 1997.

I’d say Jonathan Majors is more of a fresh new face than Smollett is. Like how despite having appeared in quite a lot of high profile films recently Anya Taylor-Joy is relatively more of a new face than Thomas Brodie-Sangster is because he’s been in high profile films since he was like 12.

Boy, the way Nicole Kidman is overacting on these last episodes of Undoing are something.
For me she was totally miscast.

If Cuoco wins over Colman then Colman would know what Glenn Close felt.

If it’s a virtual ceremony I don’t think she’s going to stay awake to feel that..

Hang on Cynthia Nixon has 5 prior Golden Globe nominations one of which being for a HBO TV Movie she wasn’t nominated for at the Emmys?

Time to slot her in to my predictions…
