Comedy supporting winners in the last 30 years remains at 10%. With those doubling up at Emmys being the J trinity of Julia Louis Dreyfus, Jeremy Piven, and Jane Lynch.

O’Hara is SC’s acting representative at both Globes & TCA. We’ll see if it continues at Sag.

The Crown was good, but Lead Actress and show should have definitely gone to Ozark. None of the women on tv in the last few years can touch Laura Linney’s performance in Fire Pink.

Bummed I picked Small Axe, but Dan Levy. Honestly didn’t think they’d give two Black British actors awards and Kaluuya was a cert. I thought they’d honour McQueen instead. An important and well-made show.

    Flight Attendant crashed.

I wonder if The Flight Attendant is in danger more of being moved to Drama by the TV Academy now.

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

The Crown‘s near-sweep is pretty unprecedented, is it not? I can’t recall any other show winning this many prizes in one year.

It is. The last drama/comedy that picked up 4 awards in a single ceremony was The Sopranos S1.

So now it’s the most nominated and most awarded season of a continuing series at the Globes this century.

Also, with its 7 total wins, I believe The Crown is the most awarded drama ever at the Globes now. The absolute smash.

Thrilled that “Schitt’s Creek” made it to the finish line in Comedy instead of the latest, shiny new object that usually wins out there. Catherine O’Hara being the corresponding acting win was great too. I predicted her for the longest time, but succumbed to peer pressure with Kaley Cuoco at the last minute. Sad that Dan Levy couldn’t pull through in supporting, but I knew he was at a disadvantage where all the other nominees were from limited series and he was the only comedy guy where that’s always at a disadvantage. I thought veteran Sutherland would be the one place where “The Undoing” would be recognized, but the Globes had other plans. The “British invasion” will probably dominate the media coverage, which will either be seen as a fun novelty or a pointed slight on American talent. “The Crown” sweep, Boyega, Taylor-Joy, and on the film side, Kaluuya, SBC, & Pike, which is insane. Redemption for Mark Ruffalo! He’s gonna trifecta, and I’ll be over the moon to see that happen! He did career-best work there, & you lot here routinely ignored “I Know This Much Is True.” Netflix finally scored a triumph with “The Queen’s Gambit,” with the breathtaking Anya Taylor-Joy winning like the universe knew that she would. I’m not predicting her to win SAG, so I’m glad she had this moment to shine. Television went much better for me than the film side with all of those upsets.

The irony that people joke about Emma Corrin looking so much like Jodie Foster and they both won last night lmao.

Those TV winners were so basic I wonder if they actually watched shows this year. 10/12 frontrunners winning, both Undoing and Ozark going 0/4 despite stats indicating they would win at least one award, Ruffalo getting the most no1curr sweep ever…

Congrats to everyone here who did well! I tanked with my last minute changes. I had SC/O’Hara/O’Connor for the longest time and just started to overthink everything. I really have to lock in my predictions one week before the ceremonies and not touch them again lol.

I’ve said this before but The Undoing is this year’s Unbelievable. The only difference is that it won’t have the support of critics.

Could Bob Odenkirk win SAG ? He’s overdue. Hasn’t won an individual award for BCS there. They did the same thing with Jason Bateman two years ago.

I’d say he’s in fourth place.
