Naomi likes her breaks instead of working so I’m sure she loves that this got cancelled. Less of having to talk about it and entertain her fans. So happy for her!

    That’s her Globe nomination cancelled.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

    Big mistake on their part.

Why? Bad critical response, seemingly (from what we can gather) very low viewership, and likely high production cost due to the caliber of talent in front and behind the camera. Plus, it doesn’t appear that Netflix has an ongoing relationship with any of the creatives so it’s not as if they are burning any important bridges. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Netflix has so much great content that I think it’s a good idea for them to start cutting things that don’t work to make room for better quality content and to free up money to spend on other, more fulfilling endeavors.

It wasn’t perfect but it had a lot of potential.

I wonder if they can sneak this into Limited Series race? Watts would stand a better chance of getting an Emmy nomination that way.

I hope that they submit it there.

Idc where they submit it, this show shouldn’t be getting any awards attention.

Generally, I agree but Watts should at least get nominated for something for her career’s sake. She has been in so many duds lately, I fear for her future.

This year Jude Law was snubbed for an HBO series directed and written by an Oscar winner. I don’t see Naomi Watts happening in limited series unless Netflix really pushes for it.

I didn’t mean let’s award her for her career, what I meant was her career needs a boost so let’s nominate her.
