Ladies Choice replaced “It Takes Two” in the most recent film. I enjoyed that they made it a Corny Collins song this time around, because in the stage adaptation there isn’t a song there, it is just a scene, if I’m remembering correctly.

Jennifer Hudson’s ‘I Know Where I’ve Been’ has to be one of the best TV scenes of the year. Totally mesmerising.

This should be fun. I’ll watch it tomorrow as the big Jennifer Hudson fan I am.

Are you also a fan of her Oscar win?

I don’t like the movie. She was up against two actresses in a terrible Inarritu film, a minor Blanchett performance and a misdirected kid. So no, I don’t have a problem that she won.

Babel fan here. I was surprised I wasn’t more impressed with the older actress’ performance. The younger Asian actress was win worthy, but had zero narrative to breakthrough the Effie White/Jennifer Hudson juggernaut. Blanchett is awesome in Notes, but the movie belongs to Dench. Never saw Little Miss Sunshine, so I can only assume the little girl got in because they pull those stunt nominations with little girls.

For those of you playing “Spot the So You Think You Can Dance? All-Star,” I found two definites and a maybe:
Zack Everhart (Season 11 4th place), credited as a dancer
Jacque LeWarne (Season 11 5th/6th), credited in the ensemble
also, “Will B. Bell” (ensemble) might be Billy Bell (Season 7 6th)
