Look at this site. It lists the Guest Acting winners WTF?September 14, 2019 at 10:10 pm #1203075666
I hardly imagined the Emmys knew their winners anywhere before the envelopes are open. Maybe a glitch or maybe splitting the ceremony in two days can lead to this confusion.
I kinda want it to be true now for those comedy guest actor and drama guest actress wins.
FYC: Invisible Life (Brazil) for Best International Film and Best Supporting Actress (Fernanda Montenegro)September 14, 2019 at 10:24 pm #1203075682
The awards that were actually handed out are highlighted with WINNER written next to them, so I don’t think Sunday’s winners have leaked. Idk if that’s their predictions or whatnot though.September 14, 2019 at 10:28 pm #1203075684
If the Guest winners listed are the actual winners then that is scary.September 14, 2019 at 10:37 pm #1203075697
FIONA FORKING SHAW? BEE-ESS.September 14, 2019 at 10:47 pm #1203075713
If these turn out to be legit then Barry is DEFINITELY the frontrunner for Best Comedy.September 14, 2019 at 10:47 pm #1203075715
Well, this (which I wrote): “Again, vote-splitting is key for Rudolph to have any shot, as the Fleabag and SNL nominees need to slay one another, highly unlikely as that sounds.”, didn’t occur.
I hate Fleabag.September 14, 2019 at 10:47 pm #1203075717
All the guest winners make a lot of sense.September 14, 2019 at 10:48 pm #1203075719
I hope these aren’t true, cause none of those guest winners would be my choices. I love Luke Kirby in Maisel, but he’ll have other chances to win in the future and I really want Peter MacNicol to take it (partly because I think he’s the most deserving, and partly because it would make up for that disgusting removal of his nomination a few years ago). And while I enjoyed Fiona Shaw, Kristen Scott Thomas was clearly the superior guest. It’s not even close. One of them did a very good job playing straight man, while the other knocked an incredible monologue that is equally hilarious and feministic out of the park. And while people may disagree with me, I think Michael McKean is legitimately deserving of a win, not just as a makeup against his snubs for win worthy performances in prior seasons, but because his acting this season, as short as it was, was still phenomenal. It may not be obvious at first glance, but there’s so many little touches in there that make a great performance. I loved the fact that we get a genuinely heartwarming brotherly love scene between Jimmy and Chuck, but that we can also see Chuck’s true colors at the same time, as he ends up proudly hogging the spotlight for what should’ve been Jimmy’s big moment. Also, McKean is Emmy worthy for his lovely tenor alone.September 14, 2019 at 10:55 pm #1203075736
It’s only the ones in bold that are confirmed.September 14, 2019 at 10:56 pm #1203075738
I will throw up if Shaw actually wins over Thomas.

Altho I’d love for Lange indeed to have won since she acts circles around her line-up.. Fiona Shaw? For Fleabag? For playing “Carolyn Martens plays Fleabag’s therapist”? Over Kristin who stole the show with a 10 second monologue?
Also if GoT indeed wins casting then I guess it’s sweeping..
Same with Chernobyl.
