Jeremy Pope, Patti LuPone, Holland Taylor, Darren Criss, Dylan McDermott, Jim Parsons, David Corenswet and Joe Mantello set to star.
The show “will look at Hollywood and the sex industry, and how absolutely everything has changed and nothing has changed.”
Jeremy Pope is expected to play a gay, aspiring writer in 1940s Hollywood.
Set to premiere in may 2020.September 4, 2019 at 10:16 pm #1203058516
I guess we know why ACS is being slated for such a late date. I’m kinda surprised that neither Fern or Wittrock are apart of the main cast with Criss because I remember Murphy saying he was fixing something up for them. Anyways, I’m ready for this and I better not be denied camp.
“No user starts this shady” - someone culturally relevant.
Also got banned because...reasons? So, I guess ciao.September 5, 2019 at 6:28 am #1203058841
It’s one of the rare “written by Ryan Murphy” projects, so I’m excited. He is also the showrunner, right?September 5, 2019 at 9:12 pm #1203060161
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Was the sex industry a thing in the 40s? I’m confused on the concept and how it relates to early Hollywood. Is it referring to casting couches and prostitution in Hollywood and how that can help actors careers?</p>September 6, 2019 at 4:59 pm #1203061209
Darren Criss is confirmed. He says it’s a limited series.April 20, 2020 at 9:17 am #1203436880
Predicting this will top the Limited Series nomination leaderboard for what may be the seventh time for a RM prod. Wins? TBD.April 20, 2020 at 9:42 am #1203436921

THIS LOOKS OUTSTANDING. WAS NOT EXPECTING THISApril 20, 2020 at 11:31 pm #1203438486
Will this be eligible for the Emmys this year?
The plot looks interesting and exciting but couldn’t help but think this is just an extension of Feud: Bette and Joan. Also Ian Brennan for me is the lesser of Ryan Murphy’s writer collaborators based on body of work. How I wish it was Tim Minear instead. But the trailer is so good!April 21, 2020 at 1:53 am #1203438623
THE TRAILER IS AMAZING OMG CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THISApril 22, 2020 at 7:47 am #1203440652
I am greatly encouraged by the positive reception to the trailer because to me this looks like something the critics (and much of this forum) are going to hate but I am going to love. I did not expect it to be so much about the younger cast and that has me doubting its chances even more than I was.April 22, 2020 at 1:41 pm #1203441570
Ryan Murphy told THR that the show might be an anthology with the same cast. Also Jeremy Pope has joined Pose S3.
