Let’s not forget that Frank has a heart condition AND nearly died. He’ll probably spend the final season in a coma. Claire won’t have much of a political career without him.

Don’t forget she is still the President.

True, but she’ll have to run to remain that way

Greg Kinnear and Diane Lane will guest-star this season playing siblings.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 31, 2018 at 11:27 am #1202484435I super curious as to when this will be released. I can’t see it being eligible this year.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 31, 2018 at 12:57 pm #1202484474It could easily be ready. Fargo shot quickly around the same time, had more episodes, and was still eligible.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 31, 2018 at 2:58 pm #1202484533If it takes them around a week to film one episode, then it will take them 8 weeks/2 months to film all 8 eps, so they’ll finish let’s say to be certain mid-April. Then they’ll have 1 month to do post-production stuff and they’ll be ready to go late May, and will barely make it to the deadline. So, yeah, I think it’s possible. No time for a trailer/promo tho lol
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 1, 2018 at 1:46 am #1202484790Not so sure that Kinnear and Lane are just guests. Here is text from the source official press release by Netflix: “Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear will join the cast of House of Cards for the final season. Lane and Kinnear join Golden Globe winner and Emmy Award nominee Robin Wright, as well as Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver in the upcoming sixth and final season.” Zimmer is news.
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 1, 2018 at 4:40 am #1202484831I’m living for Zimmer returning. I’d always hoped she would come back around and be the one to take down the Underwoods after the rest of that season one team met their ugly fate.

The difference is that Netflix will release all the 8 episodes at the same time unlike Fargo which airs weekly.

We’ll see. Claire Foy is always formidable and Moss is the reigning Emmy winner.
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 1, 2018 at 8:01 am #1202484928Thrilled for Robin Wright!
So am I. There are some HoC fans that doubt that Robin can carry the ship by herself, but I’m sure that she can. She’s a great actress.
