I am kind of over this show. But it should be said that turning Chase into House is very entertaining to watch. Chase was always my favorite supporting character. Hope he gets addicted to drugs.November 29, 2011 at 8:22 pm #233897
The show is past its prime, but I continue to watch it. I am glad the “Huddy” romance is done with because I was never really a fan of that. I do think the show is off to a better start this season than last. Foreman as House`s boss is great. The two new members on House`s team are good additions. I agree about Chase, he`s a good character, and I am glad he is getting more screentime.November 30, 2011 at 7:48 am #233898
Stopped watching at the third episode because the new girls don’t interest me at all (the hot one especially, she’s got the characterization of an oyster*, basically), and Laurie/Leonard isn’t enough to make me watch an hour of bad TV. What’s the episode where they “turn Chase into House” ? That seems fun, I may try and watch it.
* That may seem like a weird comparaison, but it’s actually a french expression, and I don’t know the english equivalent.November 30, 2011 at 11:13 am #233899
It isn’t an episode, he is just gradually being more and more like House and it is fun.January 23, 2012 at 8:37 pm #233900
I thought this was a solid episode. The POTW storyline was okay, but it was not that compelling to me. I did enjoy seeing Melanie Lynskey in the episode though, and I thought she did a very good job. The patient storyline involving House and Wilson`s bet was fun to watch. I do like how House and Foreman continue to have their battles on how things should be handled. I liked how House would use hidden notes to get under Foreman`s skin. House was finally able to get the ankle bracelet off, so I guess Foreman is ready is to have him off the leash.

I thought this was a really strong episode, and it was good to see Chase get a full episode that centered almost all around him. I really liked the storyline that Chase had in this episode, and the decision he knew he had to make in the end. The scene between Chase and House near the end of the episode was really good. House helped convince Chase to make the right decision for both him and Moira. It was silly, but I enjoyed the self-defense “game” House and Taub were playing throughout the episode. I hope the show will continue to have strong episodes to finish out it`s run.

This was so good. Felt like one of the early episodes back. And do love me some Chase.February 17, 2012 at 9:49 pm #233903
Liked a lot this episode, this show haven’t had an episode like this for a while, Jesse Spencer was really good here and the game between house and Taub was very funny.
Jjust got caught up with this 3 episodes that aired this year, gonna watch every last episode of the show on every mondays and I’m sure the series finale will be incredible.
I wonder if this last season could break through a best series nod and writing nods for the series finale episode and even a nod for Laurie based on what “Friday Night Lights” accomplished for it’s last season.
And I consider house to be way better than FNL, to me house has always been a much superior drama series despite of the last couple of seasons being far in quality from what this show once was, but this last season could change everything, it’s on the right way, and I hope it will, as a huge fan.

This was a good episode for me. I enjoyed all of the stuff between House and Dominika. It was really nice to see her again. Wilson pretending to be House`s neighbor was good. It was fun to see how everybody responded when House said he wanted there to be a team leader. I liked how House ended up giving it to Taub because he would give him half of the money. Weber wasn`t given much material with his guest role, but he was still solid with what he was given. I loved House`s reaction at the end of the episode because now he knows that he will have to play husband and wife on a daily basis. That should be fun to see.

I thought that this last episode was setting the rythym to the end of the series, we had lots of things moving along picturing what the end of the show could/would/gonna?? look like so I’m starting to get excited, we’re finally on the end of one of the shows that changed that genre and it was my favorite show for many years, It’s a shame that the drop of quality is huge compared to other seasons but I still hope we will have some great episodes near the end. I don’t like the thought that House could end up with Dominika, I would prefer a much more dramatic end for him, but, who knows the writers make it right??
So, The Countdown has began, 5 episodes to the end! Anyone else excited?April 18, 2012 at 12:10 pm #233906
I am kinda excited. I am really anxious as to how they are going to end this show and this classic revolutionary character. However, I wish they had more time to develop a proper ending rather than the rush job they undoubtedly had to do. I was also hoping for a 2 hour finale, but it looks like it is only going to be 1 hour.April 18, 2012 at 2:10 pm #233907
Ye, it will be a one hour series finale with a preceding one hour retrospective which aparently some fans will take part there’s some kind of a contest going on in which the fans send some material in video or audio and it could be included on the one hour retrospective.April 24, 2012 at 9:11 am #233908
Well, that revelation on the end of the episode made me think, I thought that this first of the “last five” episodes was good, I thought the case was engaging enough, the whole debate religion vs science always makes good episodes, and I really liked hugh laurie here, I always liked him but in that particulary episode he was good enough to make me believe that his character actually cared about losing Dominika and I know it might sound like a coward move from writers or even desperate to give Wilson Cancer but whatahell??? I prefer strong emotions and drama which is all this show is about than weak episodes, I do prefer House dying at the end and not Wilson, imo he has suffered enough with the Amber thing. Can’t wait for the next episode and I can’t remember the last time I said it after watching a House episode, that’s a good sign.

Apparently, the kind of cancer Wilson has is only fatal in 10% of its cases. Couldn’t they have given him a kind of cancer that was a bit more believable, in terms of him dying?
