There’s a theory that the last scene is a flash-forward, meaning we saw Christopher, not Wes. He is introduced as someone who knew Annalise for a long time. If that’s not true, then i believe Annalise arranged a fake death for Wes too, but it probably doesn’t add up to everything we’ve seen in the past few seasons.

I suspected this too. Meaning that’s Anna’s real funeral.

This was an insane episode! So many moments to speak of I could go on and on! Just WOW!! I’m very curious to see how the final episodes will go in explanation of a now famous character coming to Annalise’s funeral.

Dead (pardon the pun) @ them not returning for the back 6 episodes, all the way until April 6, 2020. That promo will bode well in time for emmy voting. Underestimate Viola for a final emmy nomination for her brilliant turn as Annalise Keating at your own risk, as the final episode won’t air until May!

The late return is actually better for Tyson. She just needs good material.

Her clout earned her a nod in the guest category when she failed to make the main slate. She’ll be fine getting that final season nod. Would be nice if they shotgunned her a second win.

I agree that Viola deserves a second win. I know that everyone was all over the Jodie Comer versus Sandra Oh vs Emilia Clarke for the Emmy, but Viola Davis had the best submission this year.

Haven’t watched the final season yet, but there’s a clip of an event the cast did where Viola talked about how the network was going for Jennifer Connelley and Diane Lane since Annalise wasn’t originally black and how she was hesitant of taking the role since she had nine failed pilots and she wanted to play something different.

    Diane Lane

SHE would have been a perfect choice for Emily Sinclair.

But, eastwest, can we not ignore her hilarious moment when she bust the people out about her “inability” to walk in heels in a very feminine manner?! LOL She is so funny! Now that she’ll be gainfully unemployed from her day job soon, I need a full out comedy from Queen Viola!

I was watching the first three seasons of this show with the same time it was airing and now I want to catch up before it ends so I’m starting to watch S4 today. I just want to be sure of one thing before watching. During S3 when we learned Laurel is pregnant, did they reveal if Wes or Frank is the father? I remember as Wes but I’m not sure. Or is it an information that we learn in S4? I would appreciate if someone who knows answers.

    In 3×10 they reveal that it’s Wes’s 😉

Still can’t believe we don’t get the back and final 6 until April.

This is telling that they are waiting to return until April because they are going to give a bigger push at the Emmys (I hope)

I finally finished watching S4, S5 and the aired part of S6. To me S4 is definitely the best season of this show. It’s surprising that it’s the only season Davis wasn’t nominated. S5’s second half was the most boring storyline of this show. Even though S6 was the final season it didn’t feel like it at the beginning but I just finished watching the winter finale and OMG! It definitely delivered the biggest plot twist of the show. I seriously wonder how the last six episodes will be enough to cover all these plotlines introduced in winter finale. Btw, I found Castillos crime family storyline extremely over used. Idk why the writers chose to focus on Laurel’s family for that long. Her family aside Laurel is one of my favorite characters so I hope she will be present for the final six episodes. Finally I’m pretty sure the final scene and the person revealed is not what it looks like. It would be really unfair and problematic to end Annalise’s story by simply killing considering the legacy of the character (Davis’ historic Emmy win).

Viola Davis had some fantastic episodes that would have made a competitive submission in season 4. In particular when she was on the elevator and helping to deliver the baby.

Viola should have 2 Emmys for this role.
