I am aware that next year the annual in-person nominations announcement will be phased out by the Television Academy. With the pandemic at the moment how will the announcement proceed? Will it be virtually?

    FYC:

"The Good Fight", "The Other Two" and "Station Eleven" in all categories, Sarah Lancashire ("Julia"), William Jackson Harper ("Love Life") and Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel")

    Same as always, except…

*Social distancing in the press section; person in seat, three seats empty, then another person in their seat (lather, rinse, repeat.
    *Temperature checks beforehand.
    *Mandatory masks.

    No virtual stuff.

I think it should be done virtually OR only one person annoucing without an audience.

It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

This is not happening considering the state America is in right now.

The safest thing to do would be to just have someone announce it virtually

I just remembered: it could be just like the Oscars did in 2017. I really liked that way.
