I hope Minnie Driver comes back because this Didn’t justify a guest nomination.November 3, 2017 at 1:35 am #1202400925
In its recent article about W&G Deadline has hinted that Molly Shannon will be back too as crazy Val. And I like how they treat guests this season. Like guests as it should be.November 3, 2017 at 6:24 am #1202401000
Just finished watching. This could net Megan the win. My grade: A+November 3, 2017 at 6:50 am #1202401012
This was classic Will & Grace last night. Probably the only episode that made me glad to have it back. Mullally was…..just everything. She and Sean Hayes never submitted that well but if she submits this, she has Emmy number 3 and it will be well deserved.November 3, 2017 at 7:03 am #1202401024
Am I the only one who is mad that Debbie Reynolds (Grace mother) didn’t get a better send off? Grace just mention that her mother had died and that was it..I mean I wanted more….Oh and yea Megan is coming for that 3rd Emmy. The bits with Shmitty and Minnie Driver were funny as hell.November 3, 2017 at 11:21 am #1202401253
Megan Mullally was indeed fantastic, and the last scene at the casket legitimately made me tear up. Poor Rosario. I knew that this was where they were taking things plot wise, but it was still tough to watch. It’s an easy go-to submissions tape for Mullally, but Kate McKinnon won’t be easy to beat next year and could easily repeat again. Janney couldn’t win with a similar funeral-themed episode this year (under very different circumstances and more competitive category, I know). I’m more interested in what the Globes do with the show itself in Comedy/Musical and foursome. If they finally award them with wins, then that will be nice momentum moving into the new year. Will and Grace’s sparring over the lease was a bit out of place, but I loved Jack’s “Terms of Endearment” homage (jello lol) and dancing scene at the bar. Minnie Driver was a hoot! I’d hope for more of a showcase for Driver later in the season if she’s going to be viable in guest actress comedy. Fitting fall finale overall and an impressive returning stretch of episodes so far this season. Welcome back!November 3, 2017 at 11:49 am #1202401271
Pretty good episode and definitely Mullally’s submission for what should be a very easy nomination.
I was kind of hoping for Rosario to show up somehow.
I think Hayes took things way too over the top, or bigger than usual, didn’t care for the Terms of Endearment joke at all, it’s 2017. It’s not funny anymore to parody that when everybody already did it in the last three decades.
It seemed impossible a few months ago, but I’m not feeling Debra Messing here. Something is off.
Minnie Driver could’ve been in more scenes or in an entirely different episode that focused on her and Karen alone. Karen had other things to deal with here so it makes sense she only had two (excellent) scenes. I want more.
Molly Shannon is coming up soon I guess, she posted pics of the table read.November 3, 2017 at 12:05 pm #1202401279
My dear friend told me that Danner, Arkin and possibly Sara Rue are all coming back. And some ex-boyfriends of Will and Grace are gonna show up too. Bobbi’s death is gonna be mentioned again, don’t worry.November 3, 2017 at 12:19 pm #1202401285
This season has a pattern is quality. The premiere was eh, the second episode was good, the third episode was worse, the fourth episode was very good, the 5th was the worst this season, and the sixth was the best this season. See the pattern?November 3, 2017 at 6:48 pm #1202401450
Amazing episode! ♡November 3, 2017 at 10:35 pm #1202401502
Fantastic Episode .. I was legit crying .. A beloved character and a great Episode .. I frankly think Mullally could win with any episode but this was her best.
Check out my online store 🙂November 4, 2017 at 6:48 am #1202401683
WOWWWWWWWWWWW, now this was classic Will & Grace! Megan was nothing short of brilliant! I’ve been in love with her since the day show aired, but this performance has shot up to the top of my performance of the show to the date! They were all in top form, but Megan delivered an amazingly layered performance. Great writing, and an extremely rewarding send off to Shelley Morrison.November 7, 2017 at 8:25 pm #1202404802
The Rosario tribute episode was fantastic from top to bottom. Mullally gave a top-notch, very layered performance and Sean Hayes was a stand-out as well in the bar scene with the dancing. He brought levity to an otherwise somber episode. Minnie Driver was hilarious with what she had to do.
I think Mullally and Hayes are making very strong cases for nominations.
Speaking of nominations, can anybody remind me for which episodes of “Will & Grace” did Mullally and Hayes win their Emmy’s? I am blanking completely. I know McCormick won for “Lows In The Mid-Eighties” and Messing for “The Kid Stays Out of The Picture” but I can’t recall what episodes the other two won for.November 8, 2017 at 6:42 am #1202405136
Hayes won for season 2 eps Acting Out (Jack protests when NBC doesn’t air TV’s first gay kiss) & Homo for the Holidays (Jack comes out to his mom at Thanksgiving).
Mullally for season 2 eps Polk Defeats Truman (Stan puts Karen on a budget) & To Serve and Disinfect(Grace finds out Karen has done porn) and the original series finale.
