So Rosario’s Quinceanera is definitely gonna be nominated but is it a frontrunner?

I’m not confident in it. While I am currently predicting the show to get 10+ nominations (mostly as filler, even though I think it warrants them all), I don’t want to say it is definitely winning anywhere. Especially in the writing category. The writers tend to be pretty progressive, and Will & Grace is a multi-cam show. Will & Grace also only has one writing nomination so I definitely wouldn’t say it’s getting nominated for sure.

“Rosario’s Quinceanera” has a great shot at a nomination, but win is questionable. It would absolutely deserve it.. But they weren’t even able to pull off a win there, even when they won Outstanding Comedy Series back in the day.

Now, as far as Megan, this will and should absolutely be her submission, and she should be crowned three time emmy-winner, Megan Mullally!

Because of all the raves for this episode I’ve decided to give the show one more chance (yes, Hunter, you can brag) and yup, it was really great. Loved Will and Grace’s storyline. Debra’s definitely back on track. Btw I’ve read script for episode with her dad… it’s so gonna be her tape. If she sells it and gets nominated, she’ll be very competitive. Am I the only person who liked Karen’s flashback scenes? I found them kinda hilarious. And I have to agree Sean Hayes is without a doubt MVP of this season. He should be frontrunner for Emmy, no question about that. And I love Jack has a boyfriend. Honestly how long can you be a whore? lol

It definitely did take Debra a minute she stuggled in the first couple of episodes especially with delivery she seemed really tense and unnatural but I think she has recovered nicely. Especially with the QVC episode.</p>

Last years WGA Episodic Comedy winner wasn’t nominated at the Emmys. The category is not a reflection of general popularity of a show.

Last year’s Episodic Drama winner also missed. Three of the four nominees that Will & Grace beat do not have a prayer for an Emmy writing nomination and the fourth is ineligible. That said, half of last year’s Emmy nominees are ineligible, as is Curb Your Enthusiasm. If GLOW and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel each pick up just one nomination, that might leave Will & Grace battling American Vandal, Arrested Development and Episodes for the last slot.

Btw they have also recast Janet’s character. She won’t be played by Geena Davis anymore. This time she’s gonna have Mary McCormack’s face. It’s like they don’t give a shit about old fans.

Too much improvisation, so they never submit and have never been nominated despite winning WGA Series.

I don’t understand why they do this? Why bring back old characters if they’re going to be played by someone else. In this instance, I’m sure Davis was unable to come back due to The Exorcist on Fox, but still. They need to honor old fans.

I liked tonight’s episode. I really enjoyed the Karen/Will scenes. I thought Messing was really good. A possible emmy tape for her.

Bias aside this show is on fire and truly deserves Best Comedy Series nomination. Second half of the season is so much better than first. I know tapes do not matter anymore but if they did that show would be in it to win it. This episode was everything! I laughed so hard I almost pee myself. Always love when they’re pairing Will and Karen. Their scenes were just hilarious! But the episode belongs to Debra Messing. She killed it. And it would make for a killer submission for her. Cannot believe she was fucking the whole family! Lol With this second half of the season she deserves to get nominated just like the rest of gang. Oh and can they already bring back Veronica Cartwright? Cannot fucking wait for her return! A fucking +

Loved all the storylines tonight. Agree that it would be a great tape for Messing. Hayes and Mullally continue to give incredible support.

Messing was pretty great tonight! Damn. Nasty premise, but she nailed it (pun fully intended)! Really like it when they switch up the pairings. We never get that much of Karen and Will together, so all of their scenes with scaring the kitchen staff were awesome. Jack was also nice support to Grace for a change. “Respect.” Yes indeed, bitch!
