Wasn’t technically he an actor first though? I remember his cameo in Bright Star

I didn’t realise this. Just looked at his filmography and didn’t notice I had already seen him (in addition to (bright) on Penny Dreadful & Skins.

    Finished this yesterday.

Keeley Hawes is coming. That performance in the final episode is astonishing.

I just watched the entire thing, it’s heartbreaking!

The last two episodes are simply supberb. I love how it’s about people and the background of their lives, not about the disease.

The performances are everything, but Keeley Hawes in that final episode is just pure and simply brillant!

Just finished and my first thought is that Keeley needs to win whatever she’s eligible for.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

Keeley Hawes really was like I only need one episode to deliver one of the best performances of the year.

    It’s a five episode one-off so yes.

I liked NPH in this but being nominated / winning for it would be, odd. He just really has the one scene that would make for a terrific Drama Guest Actor winner but Sup Limited is odd.

Adepo, Martindale, Ullman did have similar issues last year with their nominations but the former had an entire episode all about him whilst the latter two also did have episodes and were present in the series.

Not saying he’d be a bad nominee/winner (especially since his only competition right is John Boyega, and even he might move up to lead), just an odd one.

Especially when Callum Scott-Howells from the same show is right there.

I’d go with Callum over NPH too. After watching, I’d nominate Callum, Olly, and Keeley. Lydia was wonderful, but I think her category will be packed.

Definitely one of my favorite shows of the past few years. While being a difficult watch because of the subject matter, it was easy in that the time passed quickly. If it’s between this and The Queen’s Gambit or I May Destroy You, I’d choose this. I loved both those too. I still have some others to watch.
