They have already announced third-season writer Laura Neal as head writer for next season.

I think either the show gets Comer, Shaw and Oh in, only Comer in or gets shut out completely at the Emmys. It is finished in writing and series.

FYC Emmys : Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve"), Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials"), Russell Tovery ("Years and Years"), Helena Bonham Carter ("The Crown") & The Crown, His Dark Materials, Years and Years, Succession and The Affair in all categories. The Politician : Ben Platt, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bette Midler and Judith Light.

FYC Goldderby Awards : MAURA TIERNEY AND DOMINIC WEST FOR THE FINAL SEASON OF THE AFFAIR

Thank you and I wonder if Phoebe Waller-Bridge will be open to returning as the show runner for season 4.

phoebe is not coming near this train wreck. She made a brilliant first season and dipped

I think so but nonetheless it’s not going to warrant it an Emmy nomination in Series.

producers should fire her immediately after this disaster of a season

Suzanne Heathcote is the showrunner this season. Laura Neal wrote episode 3, which was the best of the first six. However, the way this has been going, I doubt I’ll watch the fourth season unless the next two episodes are really good.

“End of Game”: A very dry but not unentertaining episode given life by the excellent performances of Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw.

This was a good episode but still too much Geraldine. Even Carolyn is like ‘Dear Geraldine, I think it’s time you left’  in the next episode.

I’m kinda looking forward to the next season as the show runner will be Laura Neal, who has produced the two best episodes of this season. Interestingly, she is the only writer this season to bring Eve and Villanelle together.

    “Beautiful Monster” review

    MVP- Kim Bodnia
For the first time this season all the main 4 cast were great in the same episode. Glad we got to see lots more of Eve this episode compared to last weeks, I liked the balance between her and Villanelle. Bodnia was great this episode. Fiona Shaw has been consistently amazing this season and should be competitive for the win. I hope that they submit one of Laura Neal’s episodes instead of show runner Suzanne Heathcote as they would stand a much better chance at getting a writing nomination.

    FYC Emmys-
Limited- Quiz/ Unbelievable/ Years and Years

Drama-Big Little Lies/ The Crown/ Killing Eve/ The Morning Show
Jennifer, Jodie, Sandra, Olivia & VIOLA DAVIS

Comedy- Schitts Creek/ Dead to Me- Christina Applegate, Catherine O’Hara, Suzy Nakamura, Annie Murphy, Dan Levy

I thought this was, finally, a decent episode. Stuff actually happened. Some funny moments too (“what is this vile country?”). I just skip past scenes with Geraldine in, I can’t endure it.

I am very intrigued by Helene (Camille Cottin) and hope she appears further in S4.

It’s lovely to see such enthusiasm as I don’t think i’ll be here for the next one. But i’ll first have to endure whatever is left of this one to make that decision…

The elevator scene editing was all over the place. I’m trying to enjoy it, but I have no idea what is happening this season or what’s the point.

The show is headed full-steam into mess territory. The second season wasn’t also great as the first one but unlike this it had a focus. At this point, writers must think killing people in a cool manner is a shtick on its own that deserves to be seen, but it’s not! Yes, that was an aspect of the show that made it unique but now it is just cheap. Shaw’s increased material is the only saving grace along with the third episode.
