Killing Eve is coming to an end with its delayed fourth season but BBC America is developing a number of potential spinoffs.
The cat-and-mouse thriller, which stars Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh, is set to start filming season four in the UK and across Europe early this summer and the eight-episode run will premiere in 2022.
The third season of the Sid Gentle-produced drama premiered in April 2020 and Covid-19 has delayed production of the show that was originally adapted for television by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Even in S1 it was clear that this show doesn’t have an envisioned ending since the whole story is based around Eve and Villanelle’s complex dynamic. I even guessed the end is near when Jodie Comer was announced for Kitbag. Also, I don’t think anyone else will care for spinoffs if Eve and Villanelle won’t be in it together.

March 16, 2021 at 8:14 am #1204138046Hopefully this final season will allow the main characters a chance to shine in the spotlight (and not be relegated to supporting roles, like they were last year, particularly Sandra Oh). I’d honestly get rid of the supporting cast, because I can’t stand most of these characters. The show would be better without Costantine, Carolyn’s daughter, and even Carolyn (the thought of a spinoff in this universe does not appeal to me because most of these secondary characters are annoying).

Add Queen Fiona to the list.

ReplyCopy URLMarch 16, 2021 at 10:37 am #1204138435My one and only wish: Please give Sandra Oh season 1-like material. She had to take a back seat in seasons 2 and 3, which was more than disappointing.

It airs simultaneously on on both AMC and BBC America. They belong to the same group.

Manifesting final chance wins for Oh-denkirk.

Oh has The Chair and a whole bunch of streaming films set to be released soon and the latter has a topical Covid miniseries, potential Oscar buzz for The Last Duel, potential buzz for Kitbag while she ascends to a movie star status.
If this season ends up being as acclaimed as the first then the other girls better run.
I believe Help is just a single drama (a mini-series would have been ace though).
