After shockingly being announced as the upcoming host for Saturday Night Live, Lindsay Lohan has just snagged another new gig.
Lohan will have the honor to play Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime film. The biopic will follow the romance between Taylor and screen legend Richard Burton.
In other news, Lohan returns to court (again) on Feb. 22.February 21, 2012 at 4:38 am #240168

No, it’s true.February 21, 2012 at 2:22 pm #240171
Really? Just a Television film? I definitely thought when the word broke out about this rumor, that Lohan woud have a chance to make a comeback to the big screen and get her first Oscar nomination.
Oh well, lets hope the film is good, and that she can maybe get as far as getting nominated at Emmys, Golden Globes, and SAG’s.February 21, 2012 at 3:13 pm #240172
Who should play Richard Burton?February 21, 2012 at 3:30 pm #240173
^^^For some odd reason, I could see Michael Fassbender in that role. But I’m probably way off.February 21, 2012 at 4:16 pm #240174
Maybe his junk is too big for that roleFebruary 21, 2012 at 7:12 pm #240175

I’m not thinking that costarring with LiLo in a Lifetime Original Movie is exactly the direction Fassbender should be headed after his banner year.February 21, 2012 at 7:14 pm #240176
I heard that Lohan could lose the part if she misbehaves.February 21, 2012 at 7:15 pm #240177
Why do I get the feeling we all will be disasturbating about this girl in a few months? I hope I am wrong, but I don’t have a feeling that she’ll live to see her comeback.February 21, 2012 at 9:20 pm #240178
The Liz Taylor biopic is for the big screen, and you can say you read it here first: LiLo will be so good as Liz, she will win an Oscar before Glenn Close does.February 21, 2012 at 9:25 pm #240179
It’s for Lifetime.February 21, 2012 at 10:21 pm #240180
And no, I don’t see any Emmy in the cards for her either.February 25, 2012 at 4:53 pm #240181
Really? Lindsey Lohan? Name one film or TV project this girl has been even remotely good in besides Mean Girls and Freaky Friday?
Elizabeth Taylor has got to be rolling over in her grave right now! Has Lifetime really turned into that kind of network? This sounds like something ABC Family would do (well actually, they already did do it!).
If they wanted someone that was young, why not get Ellen Page? Selena Gomez (at least she is a GOOD young actor!)?
Lifetime has gone from a good network that showed really good television movies, and has turned into an ABC Family type network!
