ReplyCopy URLJune 9, 2021 at 10:09 am #1204293119Loki is down to 73? What were all of those tweets a few days ago that painted it as transcendent like WandaVision? I get that pre-review chatter overhypes things in general, but I would think that things would at least track in relative terms (as opposed to absolute). It now has worse reviews than The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which seems to have been widely accepted as just-fine and was never purported to be more.

June 9, 2021 at 12:18 pm #1204293390It’s not that good. Marvel needs to change things. It’s always the same story of good vs bad with some « humor » and it’s boring…

ReplyCopy URLJune 9, 2021 at 11:37 pm #1204294233Well, I really liked the first episode of Loki.
The main problem of the episode is a lot of exposition in the dialogues involving what TVA is and how it works and the rules of time travel.
But Tom Hiddleston is as excellent as ever, both in the comedic scenes and in the dramatic scenes; Owen Wilson is also entertaining, the soundtrack is great, the production design is gorgeous (I hope they’ll be remembered at the awards) and the revelation about who is the villain is quite intriguing.
It’s the best first episode of a Marvel series by far.

ReplyCopy URLJune 10, 2021 at 1:24 am #1204294353I did enjoy the first episode and I do anticipate what will happen next.
SPOILER!!!
If Loki disturbed the time, how come they did not stop Thanos? TVA seems to be more powerful than anything. It simply does not make sense. The Infinity Stones thing pissed me off. It was not needed. For them to just have stones lying around while we’ve lost Natasha and Stark for them makes their deaths seem… pointless.
