Senhora do Destino was a telenovela aired on Globo from June 28, 2004 to March 11, 2005. It has, in my opinion, one of the best pilots and best finales on telenovela history. I personally love it.

I’m so interested in the Northeastern Immigrants who came to Rio – just like what happened with my family – and also the Brazilian Military Dictatorship (hence, the Cold War). So I absolutely love those 5 (?) first episodes.

And how can we forget one of the best villains in television history, Nazaré Tedesco played by the superb Renata Sorrah? What a meme factory she was!
