I can’t think about specific scenes off the top of my head, but Sherri Shepard saying “HAAAAM!” (30 Rock ‘Queen of Jordan’) had my laughing for quite awhile.
Dramatic… “That’s what the money’s for!” (Mad Men ‘The Suitcase’)December 29, 2011 at 9:38 pm #235724
i agree with the darkest timeline being the funniest but in my opinion the most dramatic was the scene in the hospital room between jax and tara in “hands”.December 29, 2011 at 9:49 pm #235725
Mad Men aired in 2010 last though.
Funny: The Dark Timeline from Remedial Chaos Theory (Community)
Dramatic: Ned Stark’s Execution (Game of Thrones)December 29, 2011 at 9:51 pm #235726
“Remedial Chaos Theory” is the only episode I’ve ever seen of Community, because I heard it was a great example of the show’s creativity. And while it did not make me laugh out loud often, it was very well-conceived.
My favorite comedy moment this year was Phil talking about his attraction to powerful women on Modern Family.
Favorite dramatic moment was also Jesse at the meeting. When you track down a scene to rewatch it individually on YouTube, you know its good.December 30, 2011 at 6:01 am #235727
most dramatic scene would be from the time jesse gets the call that brock is in the hospital, in the hospital, to the big confrontation with walt at his house. great stuff there.
favorite comedic scene would be ron swanson recalling all the steaks hes ever eaten in his life, with pictures. pure gold.December 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm #235728
1. Ned Stark execution (GoT)

Comedic: episodes season finale when matt leblanc and sean get into that fight. too many funny moments
Dramatic: episodes season finale when sean confronts bevelery about her infidelity. this scene for reals made me cry.
OK, I’ll do better one….
Comedic: maybe when condoleeza rice proved that she’s a better piano player than jack donaghy.is a flute player.(i didn’t care for it the first time i watched it, but now i think it’s the funniest thing ever)
Dramatic: walt’s freakout in the basement. holy ish!December 31, 2011 at 8:38 pm #235731
What about Brenda’s breakdown at the end of the summer season of The Closer. I would also add her stand up to Pope in the winter season finale of The CloserJanuary 9, 2012 at 4:51 am #235732
Sorry guys I was on vacation and couldn’t edit the thread, forgot that mad men didn’t air last year so I’m changing my scene to the one in breaking bad’s episode ” Crawl Space ” where we see Walt’s breakdown hysterical-holy-shit-hitchcockstyle-freaking-fuc****-awesome scene.
