Not quite yet – THR gives it pretty much a rave.
Hopefully those two 60’s are just a weird coincidence.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I still expect a critical drop off from season two since so many critics seemed personally betrayed and offended by some of the events of last season. I think Mr. Robot was unfairly singled out as emblematic of several negative trends (both real and imagined) and had its reputation as a whole tarnished as a result. It is still one of the most inventive, interesting, beautifully made shows on television and serves a vehicle for one of my favorite dramatic performances of the last few years – will continue to defend it despite backlash.October 11, 2017 at 3:49 am #1202234656

Bounces back up to 81 from 7 critics. Great turnaround! I would love for it to stay above 80.October 11, 2017 at 11:23 am #1202234921This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.October 11, 2017 at 11:46 am #1202234929
Why the second season is rated higher than the first one on Metacritic, but it was generally panned?October 11, 2017 at 11:48 am #1202234931This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.October 11, 2017 at 11:54 am #1202234937

It was only a select few episodes and critics give higher scores to second seasons because of goodwill. Even UnReal and Empire had a huge jump in their scores despite loosing acclaim
Thanks, makes sense.October 11, 2017 at 2:09 pm #1202235024
Another positive review from CNN pushes this up to 82, higher than its final Season 2 score. I don’t expect it to stay that high but I am genuinely surprised by all the positive takes. Generally, once a critic feels burned by a show they are reluctant to embrace it again, especially so quickly. I think this is a real testament to the show’s undeniable quality.
Sadly, I think its time to feature in the drama series lineup is still over (we’ll see) but I think a Malek comeback is entirely in the cards.October 11, 2017 at 6:30 pm #1202235178This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.October 11, 2017 at 8:42 pm #1202235259This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.October 15, 2017 at 2:00 am #1202237472
Can someone tell me what’s the disease of Elliot? How is it possible that he can be ‘turned off’ and taken over by his dad when in reality it’s still him?
I’d rather see Elliot doing things as it happens than watch projection of his father in those moments, TBH.October 18, 2017 at 11:26 pm #1202242155This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.
