No. FX made it, but it’s exclusively airing on Hulu.

Am I the only person who loves Martindale’s performance? I feel like her presence, no matter how much screen time (Shirley) or how little (Jill), she always shines. I cannot wait for this week’s episode.

Having never seen her before (whoops) I think she’s excellent. I know a lot of ppl feel that she’s playing a role similar to her usual ones, but having never seen those I say this one is great.

It is similar in some ways to her previous performances in that she is somewhat overbearing, but I think that the role allows her to be less stock, especially in “Shirley”

Margot Martindale never fails to deliver, and while this episode hardly gave her anything new to do despite being named after her character, she was heartbreaking in that little scene with Betty.

Another great episode. Byrne, Martindale and Blanchett were very impressive. I love this show.

She’s great. They all are. I don’t see how it doesn’t get at least 5 supporting actress slots. And with Banks on the ballot too I wouldn’t be stunned if it’s 6. As GOT showed last year in the supporting races they will check off all of their names on the ballot.

I’d nominate Aduba, Byrne, Martindale and Ullman, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they namecheck Paulson and Banks (even Nash and Tripplehorn).

Seems unfair to suggest Paulson would be a namecheck when we haven’t even seen her episode yet

My god, how can this cast be so great? there are no weak links and they could all be nominated and no other show gets in and it would still be on merit, I cannot Wait to see what paulson does next week😍

I thought Tracey Ullman was phenomenal last night. This last episode takes place after Carter is elected, and Ullman dropped her register and made her voice somewhat raspier as a result of aging. She also seemed less fiery, due to the fact that her character feels her work has been accomplished (the cultural climate is more progressive now). She really, really captured the jump in time and showed how it affected her character. She might be my pick for Emmy win over Byrne.

“Bella”: This is my favourite episode in a while. Martindale, Byrne and Blanchett all gave incredibly skilled performances that kept me engaged throughout. I will be intrigued how the next two episodes go because this one felt very penultimate setting up for a big finale so I hope the show doesn’t lose steam.

Great episode. After last week’s minor hiccup, I’m glad to see they got back on track here. Martindale was very good even though I still am not feeling whatever accent she’s doing. She’s probably one of the few supporting ladies I wouldn’t nominate but I did find her work very moving in this episode. I’m also happy to have Byrne back. I can’t help but feel her absence last week played a large part in that episode being my least favorite so far. She was aces this week. Her scenes with Martindale were the highlights of the episode, imo.

I’m excited to see all that happens at the convention. The build up has been executed perfectly, thanks mostly to Schlafly’s little downward spiral leading up to it (played masterfully by Blanchett).

The pie scene was also the best way to start an episode lol.
