That’s not good news for Community.
Parks and Rec needs that 9:30 timeslot.November 14, 2011 at 4:15 pm #233073
FINALLLY!!! They moved Harry’s Law to a timeslot where it might actually do good ! Here’s hoping CBS doesn’t put a good show at that same timeslot !November 14, 2011 at 4:19 pm #233074

ABC still has Once Upon a Time in there, and CBS just announced Undercover Boss will be at 8PM Sundays beginning in mid-January in-between cycles of its Amazing Race.November 14, 2011 at 4:54 pm #233075
Wait, is Community canceled or being put on hiatus??November 14, 2011 at 4:55 pm #233076
According to EW, Community is on hiatus. I’m not worried. There’s no way NBC is cancelling the show.
In other news…so excited for 30 Rock!!! And Smash!November 14, 2011 at 4:56 pm #233077
Parks and Rec should be after The Office, not before. Though 30 Rock is a better lead in than Community (right?), maybe being between 30 Rock and The Office will help, or maybe it’s just wishful thinkingNovember 14, 2011 at 4:58 pm #233078
I have a feeling 30 Rock being heavy in syndication now will help its ratings. It certainly helped The Office.
That being said, I think it will serve as a better lead in for Parks and Recreation, which I think will step up its quality to match the probable greatness 30 Rock will bring us (I never watch TV with high expectations, but I’m expecting 30 Rock to be bigger and better this season with the prolonged time to craft the seasonal storylines).November 14, 2011 at 5:40 pm #233079
Well, this seals Community’s fate for a fourth season. I assume NBC will let the show finish out the season, but it’s not getting another season. Which is strange, because I thought NBC would want it in syndication.November 14, 2011 at 5:53 pm #233080
Please NBC, let us have a fourt season of Community. At least it’s not cancelled yet, so we’ll probably have the entirety of season 3 at some point.November 14, 2011 at 6:05 pm #233081
^^^ If this is true it seriously bums me out. Community has been showing flashes of sustainable brilliance this year and I am going to sincerely miss it.November 14, 2011 at 6:05 pm #233082
So Harry’s Law is moving….again.November 14, 2011 at 6:32 pm #233083
This is pretty ridiculous, and what actually makes it worse is that Whitney still gets to hang around.
Community’s ratings are shit. NBC isn’t entirely to blame here. But the Whitney situation is what bothers me the most.
I think 30 Rock should’ve gone to Wednesdays with Up All Night, same tone, same people, likely the same audience. They keep treating Thursdays and its comedy block like it’s still the mid-90’s. It’s not. Break them up and spread them, the result can’t be that bad, it’s obviously not very good right now.
Chelsea should’ve been put in Whitney’s place and let Community die their slow death because that fourth season was looking less and less possible even before this announcement. And of course, let Whitney go, it would’ve never been missed, not even by the people who actually watch it (myself included).
Once Chelsea got cancelled (of course it will be) and Community too at the end of the season, Up All Night and 30 Rock could’ve gone back to Thursdays for fall 2012.
