C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia books is set to receive a new life through Netflix as they’re developing stories from across the Narnia universe into a TV series and films.

Unless Liam Neeson returns as the voice of Aslan, I’m not interested.

I guess that Silver Chair movie got canned. I would have loved to see the reboot on the big screen.

Since Netflix will be developing some movies as well, I guess it’s still possible. I’m also guessing that if a planned franchise didn’t quite work out on the big screen, television appears to be the place to be given a second chance.

We’ve seen it work with The Mortal Instruments and A Series of Unfortunate Events. Several others are in the works like His Darkest Materials and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

On one hand, I LOVE this idea. On the other hand, I really don’t want to see The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe done first again and hope that they go in chronological order (The Magician’s Nephew, The Lion the Witch and Wardrobe, The Horse one, Prince Caspian, Dawn Treader, Silver Chair, and Last Battle).

I watched the recent movies over a couple of days a few years ago and they really grew on me. I have been holding out for a revival, not another reboot.
