Kim Cattrall recently retweeted a story from Wendy Williams about the possiblity of a SatC spin-off on HBO starring her Emmy nominated role as sexy, confident PR maven Samantha Jones.

Later she hinted it was in the works with a simple response to a fan.

Wendy Williams often promotes false tabloid stories that are frequently debunked by news-debunking websites like Gossip Cop, so I wouldn’t automatically assume this news is true just because Wendy Williams says it is.

SJP wants a 3rd movie. Understandable why she used to SATC brand to leverage a new lease on her movie career. But the writing for the movie version has been subpar. Wish she’d consider some 6 or 8 episode reboot season of the series.
