CBS ends 43-year association with People's Choice Awards; moves to E!

Today the People’s Choice awards announced they are switching networks from CBS to E!. CBS was the host network of the People’s Choices for 43 years before today’s announcement. The awards will instead take place November 18th, 2018. No PCA’s this January.

And with that they lost the last bit of significance they had (except of course for when Kristen Bell beat Julia Louis-Dreyfus to Favourite Premium Cable TV Actress in 2016, which will naturally go down in history)

My .02 on the PCAs; more misses than hits, but those hits in TV and movies were on the money fair. BAD BADDER BADDEST thing; the winners knew who they were, siphoning every last ounce of drama in the venue itself. And the PCAs were the only venue JLD lost at during her currebt reign of error as comedy’s best lead actress.

That’s not true, cause she lost at the Globes.
