Does anyone know some examples of nominations or wins occurring after they should have? Here are some that come to mind.

    My win examples:

    Peter Dinklage, Game of Thrones
    Wrong win: Season 5 (2015)
    Correct win: Season 4 (2014)
Person/s robbed: Jonathan Banks – Better Call Saul (win), Kit Harington – Game of Thrones/Mandy Patinkin – Homeland (nominations)

    Tatiana Maslany, Orphan Black
Wrong First Win: Season 4 (2016)
Correct First Win: Season 1 (2013)
(I don’t think Maslany’s win necessarily robbed anyone but it should not have come so late)

    Ben Mendelsohn, Bloodline
    Wrong win: Season 2 (2016)
Correct win: Season 1 (2015), as an alternative to Jonathan Banks
Person robbed: Kit Harington – Game of Thrones (win), Christopher Eccelston – The Leftovers (nomination/win)

    My nomination examples:

    Matthew Fox, Lost
    Finally nominated: Season 6 (2010)
Correct first nomination: Some time in the first 3 season (2005-2007)

    Elizabeth Mitchell, Lost
    Finally nominated: Season 6 (2010)
Correct first nomination: Season 3 (2007)

    Lena Heady, Game of Thrones
    Finally nominated: Season 4 (2014)
Correct first nomination: Season 2 (2012)

    Anne Dowd, The Leftovers
    Finally nominated: Season 3 (2017)
Correct first nomination: Season 1 or 2 (2015/2016)

Does it work for different shows?
    Samira Wiley
Should’ve been nominated for Orange is the New Black instead of The Handmaid’s Tale.
I haven’t seen The Affair but I heard Maura Tierney was nominated a year late.

Tierney absolutely deserved her season 2 nomination, her best season, and would have been a great winner. She was rightfully snubbed for season 3.

I second the mention of Ann Dowd.

Also, Mandy Patinkin’s season 6 nomination was ridiculous since he did nothing and would have been a great winner for season 4.
