quick question. can Amy Poehler submit both parts of the wedding episode? I think that’s her best choice. If not, she should go with the first part (“Emergency Response”, I think)

She can. Both parts aired on the same night, and the rules say that you can submit a two-part episode if they aired on the same night or if the episode ends with “To Be Continued”.

Actually “Emergency Response” aired a week before “Leslie and Ben,” so I’m not sure if they can be submitted as one tape – plus they had different writers and directors. I wish they could. However, for some reason the same night they aired “Leslie and Ben” they also aired “Correspondent’s Lunch.”  I know a lot of people have suggested Amy to submit “Emergency Response” but I have a feeling she will go with “Leslie and Ben” because that seemed to be the episode that was really pushed pre-nominations.

Molly Shannon (“Enlightened”) – “The Ghost Is Seen”

This is the Mike White-centric episode, right? I seem to remember someone complaining in one of the other threads that she had submitted something else but I’m glad that she ended up going with this one (although I’m not sure she really stands a chance of winning).

We will have all the episode titles soon. Many people are discussing internally right now and making final decisions (remember, nominations were only a day ago), Also, quite a few network staffers and PR reps are at Comic-Con right now.

Is there a deadline for episode submissions?

That was me, lol. One of the posters reported that she had picked another episode, which worried me. I’m glad that the right episode is confirmed now, though. She probably won’t win, but she has lots of screentime, and both humor and highly emotional moments, so good luck to her.

After watching The Proton Resurgence I think Newhart has a good chance and likely ahead of the non SNL guest host noms but still will have to battle it out with Justin and Louie. I also think Parson can summit this and have a good chance of winning. Sheldon comes off far more likeable in the episode then and still quite funny.

Well we knew that – that’s great for Baccarin!
Well chosen – she’s possibly in the mix now.
Anna Gunn will hopefully win though.
    But well done Morena!
