Statement from executive producer, Michael McDonald:
“Connor Jessup is one of the smartest and most talented young actors working today. [Series creator] John [Ridley] and I believe Connor’s performance will be even more emotionally shocking than last year as his character helps shed new light on the opiate addiction epidemic that is plaguing America.”

Cannot wait! Let’s bring back Joey Pollari as well!August 23, 2016 at 4:25 pm #1201912434
Really happy that all the main cast sans Pollari have been confirmed. I really liked Stephanie Sigman as Monica and Angelique Riviera as Evy, but I don’t want the show the shoehorn their returning actors into inconvenient roles (ala Richard Cabral in season 2). I hope the show continues its upward trajectory.September 20, 2016 at 11:33 pm #1201925713
Connor Jessup! That kid is phenomenal!September 21, 2016 at 7:12 am #1201925835

But also, there goes Regina King’s Emmy. Vote-splitting, here we come.September 23, 2016 at 12:30 am #1201926540
Great news. What an ensemble.
Regina King is great but I don’t think she deserved two Emmys for this show.
Felicity Huffman will probably never win in the crowded lead category for such an ensemble show but she did some stunning work both seasons.September 23, 2016 at 1:57 pm #1201926845
V v baffling that Regina King won an Emmy for BARELY having good material in Season 2! She 100% deserved Season 1, but c’mon – why couldn’t she get in for The Leftovers?!
