Yes! Cannot wait. Season two was excellent and I have no doubts season three will be just as great. I’m also hoping Vera Farmiga can pull a Julianna Margulies and get back in Drama Lead Actress after her ridiculous snub last year.February 21, 2015 at 9:13 pm #342026
I recently saw season 1 & 2 on netflix, and enjoyed all the episodes. Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore are very strong performers. I would say one of the best on television right now. The trailer for season 3 looks great, it looks like it will be the strongest season so far.February 21, 2015 at 9:30 pm #342027
I’m starting to watch the show on netflix, and I’m very impressed especially by Vera Farmiga. I’m hoping to finish season 1 and 2 before season 3.March 6, 2015 at 1:31 pm #342029
Ready to go on Monday. Time for more Vera Farmiga awesomeness!March 6, 2015 at 4:02 pm #342030
I can’t wait! With such an open field in Actor, it would be so lovely if Freddie Highmore could finally break through. I know alot of new guys are fighting for those three open spots (McConaughey, Cranston, Harrelson) but it would be so great if he made it inMarch 6, 2015 at 5:35 pm #342031

I don’t know about season two, but for season one, Freddie Highmore was – wait for it – submitted in Supporting. Ridiculous!March 6, 2015 at 5:41 pm #342032
Glad to see I am not the only fan of Bates Motel here. Sadly I doubt Freddie Highmore will ever get nominated as he is just to young, and the voters usually tend to look down on younger actors.
Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore are the best one-two punch on TV for me. They play creepy, inappropriate, and not quite right pefectly. Vera Farmiga is an absolute powerhouse, but Freddie Highmore more than holds his own on a consistent basis. Considering we all know how this story ends up, the show does a lovely job of protraying why things end up that way.
My only real complaint is the other brother, Dylan. Max Theriot does a nice job, but the storylien for him drags the show down. It’s hard to care about him becoming the next kingpin of the drug underworld where the show takes place. At times it almost feels like he is on an entirely seperate show. Although his storyline did get better last season as he became more a part of the family.March 6, 2015 at 5:55 pm #342033
Yeah I remember that. How do you consider Norman Bates the Supporting Actor of Bates Motel. Honsetly, it was probably more of a hope to make it in the race since there was no way he was getting in two years ago and even last year he didn’t have much of a chance being submitted as a lead.March 8, 2015 at 4:34 pm #342034

In case anyone is interested, TV Guide had a nice interview with some of the cast/crew of Bates Motel in anticipation of the third season premiere. The link is posted bellow:
It is a pretty interesting read, one you may want to take the time to check out.
