The reason for the suicide was kinda silly, so I thought it was actually disappointment from the vagina not being magical, lol.

I could’ve sworn there would be a point where its revealed Larry was wrong about the suicide. Apparently not. However, as silly as the reason was, I have a relative whose Halloween costume once consisted of a Jets jersey and a noose around his neck. So make of that what you will.

This episode was a lot of fun. It completely embraced ridiculousness. Jane Krakowski and Nick Kroll were both great guests, Kroll in particular got a lot of laughs. This may be the first time all of Larry’s theories turned out to be right in a single episode; the Jets killed him, there was an ugly section, and the vagina was magical.

The latter half of the season has really sharpened up. I don’t necessarily care for the episodes to run this long.

I agree these last few episodes have been really strong and I loved “Elizabeth, Margaret and Larry.” Everything seemed to work in this one and it was just a lot of fun. Great use of its guest stars, too. Hamm should hopefully get nominated for this, as other Curb guests have gotten in for less.

This episode was an instant classic. Jon Hamm should get a nomination. It was laugh out loud funny and this season hasn’t missed a beat for me at least.

Big fan of Better Call Saul, Sex Education, Barry, BoJack Horseman, and, especially, Survivor

I believe that Jon Hamm has already secured his nomination in Best Guest Actor in Comedy.

FYC Emmys: Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist: Comedy Series, Comedy Actress (Jane Levy); Cobra Kai: Comedy Series; Dickinson: Comedy Actress (Hailee Steinfeld); The Good Doctor: Drama Actor (Freddie Highmore), Drama Supporting Actress (Paige Spara); His Dark Materials: Drama Supporting Actress (Ruth Wilson); Lovecraft Country: Drama Supporting Actress (Jamie Chung); WandaVision: Limited Series, Actress (Elizabeth Olsen), Actor (Paul Bettany), Supporting Actress (Kathryn Hahn).

I love Leon, so it was nice to see him get a story line here.

Jon Hamm was hysterical, as was the rest of the episode. Funny how they talked about The Crown, as I’m in the process of catching up on the series right now. As noted, it was nice to see Leon having a bit more to do. The concept of Got to Go feels like it’s straight out of a Kramer plot from a Seinfeld episode.

This penultimate episode was weaker than anticipated.

I thought Sean Penn and Jonah Hill were guest starring this season  after seeing them on set a few months ago.

I thought Richard Lewis’s face at the end of episode 9 when he was having diarrhea was the funniest thing I have seen all season. I would give him an Emmy just for that. I’ve been loving him this season.

    I certainly wouldn’t mind that.

This penultimate episode was weaker than anticipated.

I liked it, but I’ll acknowledge that the strongest material was at the very beginning with the spite store. What followed was good, but not quite as funny.

As we near the end of this season, I gotta say, I’m a little bummed that Cheryl hasn’t been a super big part of it. The first episode seemed to imply she’d have a more central role unlike the last two seasons, but that hasn’t been the case. This season is probably the most she’s had to do since her decreased role in the eighth, but still, it would’ve been nice if she got more of a showcase.

Also, while I like Vince Vaughn’s work this season, I found his appearance in this episode just a little distracting, because for the first time it felt like he was replacing Bob Einstein’s original Funkhouser. His earlier appearances felt like a new and different character, but here, having him among Larry’s best friends playing golf and planning a trip with them made it seem like he’s just filling in for what would’ve been Marty’s role this episode, if it weren’t for Einstein’s death. I’m pretty sure that was his first scene opposite Jeff and Richard. Still, while it was a bit distracting to me, he had solid chemistry with the other actors, so it didn’t feel too forced.
