Jon Snow stopped being hot when he started wearing the man bun.

Even the man bun or the 200 pound fur jacket he wore in the south could not separate him from my love.

I don’t care if GoT dosen’t win Drama series next year as long as it wins Cinematography.

The Oscar needs to get rid of the preferential ballot so it can name a deserving movie as Best Picture again.

Sophie Turner better than Lena Headey???????

    They’re very good comedians.

This year I stan: Taron Egerton for Rocketman / Brad Pitt, Margaret Qualley and Dakota Fanning for OUATIH (so far)

I enjoy Headey but I’ve always wondered how fun it would be if she played it more closer to the book Cersei and made her more paranoid, feminine and cheeky instead of the ever-icy-queen we’ve got.

Show Cersei is definitely a more consistent and complex character than her book counterpart who’s just pure evil(one of D&D’s better inventions) but it would have been interesting to see a female villain on the show that is so irredeemable after Joffrey and Ramsay.

I don’t care if GoT dosen’t win Drama series next year as long as it wins Cinematography.

It got 4 nominations for its 5th season and still couldn’t win. Hopefully it wins next year and for Ramin Djawadi’s consistently awesome music composition as well.

Boardwalk Empire was the right choice that year, also I’ve noted that the Emmys has some kind of bias against digital cinematography, something that the Oscars have embrace already.

The Oscar needs to get rid of the preferential ballot so it can name a deserving movie as Best Picture again.

Never liked Headey. She’s impressed me in maybe five scenes, such a stilted and awkward line reader, only occasionally in a way that suits the character. This was my least favourite season by some distance, but Dinklage, McCann, Dormer, Bradley, and Coster-Waldau had their moments.

@LordFreddyBlackfyre I actually saw the Boardwalk Empire episode had amazing Cinematography, but I personally would rank it 2nd behind Fabian Wagner’s spectacular work lensing “Hardhome.” I just thought the BE episode was really boring, so perhaps that negatively influenced my opinion of the episode in general. I’m sure that if I was too go back and watch the BE episode “Golden Days for Boys and Girls” I probably would like it the best. I just thought the visual clarity or that white walker battle in “Hardhome” was a truly impressive achievement. I don’t know why “Sons of of the Harpy” and “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” were nominated, since I don’t remember anything that extraordinary about the Cinematography of those episodes.

Those sequences under the water in BE were amazing

The Oscar needs to get rid of the preferential ballot so it can name a deserving movie as Best Picture again.

well, the majority of my top 20 chapters of the books are Sansa’s. so that helps skew my bias for her.

Anyone who thinks there’s a zillion holes in the GOT plot, should watch the end of Wet Hot American Summer 10 Years Later on Netflix. Covers the subject of plot holes so well! The character’s explanation of their ridiculous story is how I feel when I read people explaining this season’s plot.

Who would you like do direct the final season? Since every episode is going to be feature-lenght it’s likely one director per episode, so six directors. Podeswa and Shakman already said they won’t be back. Jack Bender doesn’t seem to be coming back either… and please no more Mark Mylod. My perfect line up: Miguel Sapochnik, David Nutter, Neil Marshall, Alan Taylor, Alex Graves and Michelle MacLaren.
    What are your thoughts?

What, how why when?? OMG, crisis alert!!!

I wanted Podeswa for the first two episodes, Shakman for 3rd and 4th and Sapochnik for the final two episodes. And that is the only correct trio.
