The 4th season came out. What does everyone think?January 20, 2018 at 5:48 pm #1202472180
I’m on episode 5, and so far, “The Expiration Date” seems to be a great Emmy episode for Tomlin.January 20, 2018 at 11:25 pm #1202472373
I have seen the whole season. It was great as usual. Fonda and Tomlin deserves to get nominations again. I hope Lisa Kudrow could sneak in on Comedy Guest Actress.

Just finished the whole season. Wonderful, as usual.
In fact, I think it’s their strongest season since season 1.
Fonda and Tomlin are dynamite together – love them.
Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen are terrific as well. I am baffled why they have never been nominated for their roles on the show.
I love how kids actually got some interesting storylines. June Diane Raphael deserves to be in the mix for Best Supporting actress nomination. Love her as Briana. Such an underrated actress.
Hope the show for many seasons to come.January 30, 2018 at 7:48 am #1202483375
I thought this was the best season yet. Fonda and Tomlin of course deserve to return to the Emmys but I’d love to see June Diane Raphael and Marsha Mason earn some recognition too. I’d suggest “The Expiration Date” as the submission for both Fonda and Tomlin – if tapes mattered more, I suspect Fonda could win with it.

This show gets better and better every season. I hope people remember it when Emmy nominations comes around.February 5, 2018 at 1:13 pm #1202487977This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.February 6, 2018 at 9:07 am #1202488547
This is one of the few shows that seriously does get better with every season. I thought it was novel and entertaining enough in season 1. Thought season 2 was just ok but good enough for me to keep watching. Season 3 seemed like it took a giant leap in quality all around which season 4 continued.February 6, 2018 at 9:17 am #1202488555
God i love this show

Easily the best season of the series (and one of the best comedies on TV, truly). The finale was pretty shocking as a whole, and a great social commentary on ageism. Fonda needs to submit the episode where she gives the “You want to see the real me?” monologue. An absolute acting best from her. Tomlin also has many possible submission, but can’t pick my finger on one.
This was also the first season where the entire supporting cast “gelled” nicely.February 6, 2018 at 5:35 pm #1202488873
Easily the best season of the show, and I just have to say, a complete triumph for Jane Fonda. With everything happening recently, man I’d love for her to take that Emmy stage. Tomlin has always been terrific on this show, but this season Fonda matches her toe to toe.February 6, 2018 at 8:13 pm #1202488928
Grace and Frankie is a truly one of a kind show. It deftly picks up where Golden Girls left off – its verve and winsomeness not quite rivalling that fab four, but definitely cementing itself as a outstanding showcase for advanced actors. Sheen, Waterson and Tomlin are all undeniably terrific, but Fonda is the true golden goose of the series.
She infuses her delivery with equal parts fluster, assuredness and humility – which makes for damn good comedy. Every time I remind myself that she’s 80 (!) I follow-up with, “It doesn’t matter.”
But it does. Her vigor and prowess is all the more impressive with that fact in mind, and if she’s not nominated for the Emmy I’ll…I’ll…
I’ll be very disappointed.February 7, 2018 at 8:30 am #1202489318
Oh, I think Fonda’s surely returning as a nominee. Problem is, for the win at least, I suspect she and Tomlin will always cancel each other out.

At the end when they were walking on the beach I thought it would have been a great ending to the show, but then the twist at the end. You guys think next season will be the last?
