To play for 38 days and go out because you can’t balance a ball on a flat surface or something along those lines? You can’t make it to the end without being responsible for something. Like the final two format myself, and I wouldn’t mind them switching back to it.

The three that give me a good feeling (of potential Final Three) are Kim, Sabrina, and Troy “Troyzan.”

A lot of strategy is left to play, but Kim looks like a great, great player. The way she flipped the conversation when Jay was thisclose to telling Michael the plan about booting him – totally masterful.

My guess is Kim for the win as well.. Sabrina will probably be in the finale.

Looks like Colton was the only one actually thinking on the men’s team. The men deserve to be picked off.

On another note, Russell’s new show starts in a few weeks on A&E

Kim so far has been the best player. The men are like putty in her hands. Even the seemingly smartest guy, Troyzan, got played by her, but he had every reason to believe Mike would turn on him to begin with. It was interesting that Alicia and Christina wrote Tarzan’s name down instead of Mike’s, were they out of the loop or this was part of damage control after Chelsea blew it in front of Jay?

It was funny how Tarzan thought that Chelsea had it in for him because she had a bad boob job experience with her plastic surgeon and ended up hating them all in general.

And quote of the week belonged to Kat: “This (puzzle) is too hard for me.”

The great thing about that quote is that you can make substitutions:  tying shoes, eating with a fork, putting one foot in front of the other

I agree that Kim looks to be in great shape, though of course anything can happen.  Someone on I think IMDb had a theory that Christina and Alicia voted for Tarzan to split the vote in case there were any idols played.  I guess it’s possible, but since those two are the ones out of the loop to begin with, I’m guessing not.  Plus, Kim said (quite rightly, unfortunately) that Tarzan is not a threat so it’s better to keep him around. Leif is not a threat either, and Jay had the immunity necklace, so Troyzan would probably have been a better choice for a backup vote (I assume they don’t know he has an idol).

The moment the men stood behind Colton in voting Bill off for what he does in his professional life, I knew they had this coming. I hope they get picked off one by one..

Bump. Tonight’s the two-hour season finale, followed by the reunion show.

Anybody still watching? For the first time, it’s an all-female top five.

Probst is as good as he’s ever been. He will keep winning the Emmy for reality host until they dump the category; he is a deserving winner, but voters have clearly shown no interest in looking around to see if anyone else deserves awards attention.

The physical production of the show is equally superb; cinematography, editing, art direction, music. But Emmys voters, even in the tech categories, have mostly moved on. For the last two years, about from Jeff Probst, “Survivor” was nominated only for picture editing/reality and cinematography/reality (won in 2010).

Yeah, I’m watching.  The season has become rather predictable, and it’s too bad that there weren’t at least some more attempts to make a bold move.  However, the men have only themselves to blame for burying themselves, as did Kat (“Blindsides are fun!  Oh, wait…”)  Kim has played a fantastic game, and so far, I feel she’s the most deserving, though who knows what will happen in the last few plays.  As long as Alicia doesn’t win! 😉  She is way too full of herself and her behavior was horrible when Colton was still in the game, and despite all her boasting I really don’t know what she’s done to deserve to win.  ‘Course, Christina really doesn’t deserve it either.

I agree with you about Probst.  He has a way of making tribal council really entertaining- can’t think of specific examples offhand, but they happen nearly every week.  He’s really seen and heard it all, by this point, lol!

I’ve continued. For me, the most enjoyable season since Heroes vs. Villains (though I liked Nicaragua as well). Kim is a top tier winner, and I liked a few of the players.

This was definitely Kim’s game to win.  I liked Troyzan for awhile but he’s very childish and I’m baffled as to why he voted for Sabrina.  I’ve heard that Leif was the other who voted for Sabrina.  No offense to her, but at final tribal council she basically admitted that she didn’t do one damn thing to deserve to win.  And Chelsea was even worse at final TC.  Kim’s responses were just right, imho- she owned her actions but was nice about it, and didn’t try to backpedal.  Leif may not have liked the answer she gave him, but she was telling him the truth.  She also gave a straight answer to Troyzan, even though it was obvious that no answer was going to be the “right answer”.

This was a strangely interesting TC because there were relatively few meltdowns, but some unusual speeches.  The most surprising was Kat– whoa, where did all that come from??  I didn’t even know she had it in her to string an entire sentence together, much less such an eloquent speech about not being bitter and angry.  Sorry about the heart surgery, though- I wasn’t too clear on that, at the reunion show she didn’t make it sound as if she had had it yet, and maybe she doesn’t need it.  On the other hand, while Tarzan’s speech was very romantic and heartfelt, I continue to be baffled at the level of drama.  I mean, it’s a month, and it was HIS choice to be away from his wife.  All the drama about Chelsea not picking him for the reward and blah blah blah, if he didn’t want to be separated from his wife for 39 days, then he didn’t have to be on the show!  Sorry, but compared to a couple where one of them is serving in the military or has to be away for their job for long periods, I just never have as much sympathy for these folks as they always try to milk out of us every season!

At the reunion show, they spent far too much time trying to do damage control for Colton.  It’d be nice to think that he may have learned at least a little bit from the experience, but some of his statements seemed too carefully prepared, and when he went off the script it was clear that he hadn’t really learned much.  But you know, he’s not THAT important, and I’d rather if they had used more of the time talking to some of the others.  Big oops to Probst for a rare but huge mistake, asking Matt about declining immunity when he wasn’t even part of it!  That was embarrassing.  But LOL to Matt for still thinking he was a good player.

Anyway, next season will have 3 medivac’d returnees, and I’m really, really praying that one of them won’t be Colton.

I really enjoyed the season!  My biggest complaint is the amount of time I had to spend looking at Alicia’s saggy boobs.

Kim totally owned the game and deserved to win, and it kind of surprised me that people thought Christina was a good choice for final three because no one would vote for her.  Christina was a clear outsider for the whole game — she would likely have been voted out at the very first tribal council if Kourtney hadn’t gotten injured — so it always seemed to be like she could easily rake in some votes from people who were pissed at being voted out by the establishment.  Sabrina was like the best person to have, or so I thought, because she was in on every vote but played extremely passively.  Her biggest move was giving Colton that immunity idol, which made things awful for basically everyone, except probaby Christina, who avoided being voted off when Colton made the boys go and vote off Bill.

Anyway, I really liked Kim, Chelsea and Sabrina, so I liked them as the final three.  I kept thinking that there was more to Christina, that she had something up her sleeve or some plan, but I guess in the end she was just really good at barely hanging on.  I loved Kim’s responses and her candor with everyone, though I was surprised to hear her say that the decison to eliminate Troy was made when they voted out Jonas.  I thought it would have been the next one, when Mike was voted out, because that was the first time she had to choose to vote off someone who had been on their tribe.  Troy was probably looking for something sycophantic, like “I always knew I’d have to take you out, because you were such a strong player blah blah gah.”

I haven’t watched the reunion yet, but I’m looking forward to it.
