Kind of generic, boderline lame episode with the exception of a couple scenes, particularly the one between Leonard and Penny. We really need more scenes with Penny and Amy interacting with the guys.

This was their worst episode in a while…a loooong while. There was hardly anything to laugh in this.

Who was the girl with Leonard? I know her from somewhere.

It was very Leonard-centric and that is rare. Even Sheldon’s stuff had lots of Leonard. It seemed like “we’re neglecting galecki -lets give him a whole show!” It wasn’t that good.

Terrific performance by Mayim Bialik tonight. Now that she is pretty much a series regular, hopefully she can break into the Supporting Actress category next year. Tonight’s episode was certainly good enough for her to warrant a nomination.

It just skeeves me off that my top two favorite supporting actresses in a comedy (Mayim and Gillian Jacobs) will both likely not be nominated next year. Both supporting female categories need major overhauls.

There definitely hasn’t been a great episode so far this season. It’s just been a consistently solid sitcom, which I’m okay with. They do need to expand the male characters more. Raj still not being able to talk to women is ridiculous. The girls are stealing the show because they’re changing/growing and a lot of their comedy comes from personal strife.

Mayim Bialik was so funny and now really deserves an Emmy nomination. Sheldon in the cateteria was hilarious and the final scenes of trying on the dresses was great. Forgot the funny cut of Penny puking into the garbage can in the lab.

    “The Isolation Permutation” 11/3/11

    ***1/2 out of ****

A masterful example of sitcommery as the ladies of the cast got their chance to shine–and just radiated all over the place. Bialik kicked booty, and if the Emmys’ love for the show expands and she were to be nominated, this one be one killer submission. She dominated the episode, she was riotous throughout and she even got a drunk scene! The show handles her occasional carnal approaches to Sheldon extremely well. (“Just sayin’, second base is right there.”) To me, this is how you play endearing-awkward vs. annoying-awkward and is an example Zooey Deschanel could study.
