And Emmy-caliber work from Danson and Bell, who in 3 minutes put PWB in her place at the back of the line as the best comedy TV actress in Hollywood. Don’t count on a Fleabag sweep at the GG’s. Yo, Phoebe….ya basic!October 4, 2019 at 8:58 am #1203121102

I loved the Ron Swanson & Leslie Knope dynamic in this week’s episode.October 5, 2019 at 11:20 am #1203122692
Kristen Bell is upping her game.
Hopefully D’arcy will have a juicy episode like ‘Janet’. I will be damned if she finishes the series without a single recognition.October 7, 2019 at 2:18 am #1203125074
Phoebe Who? Bill Who?
Waller-Bridge and Hader.
One teary scene from Bell doesn’t diminish their great accomplishements.
I don’t think the scene was bad, it was OK. But that’s the problem. Both new episodes were just OK, which is quite underwhelming. Where are the little jokes that I adrored? Why do we have to be bothered with the relationships dramas as much as in every other sitcom. They worked as the backstories to the whole afterlife plot. I can feel that the emphasis on both has shifted. Especially Jason-Janet dynamic is frustrating.
I guess the third episode will be about the gossip guy, but I hope the show will reinvent itself once again soon after that. It really is necessary ASAP.October 7, 2019 at 10:38 am #1203125933
Kristen Bell really is nailing this season. Her comedic timing is perfect and she was great in the dramatic scene. Hopefully she gets an Emmy nom next year.
