This was a boring premiere, but they made me a Will/Alicia shipper in an hour after two seasons of finding them the worst part of the show. But that could be b/c those scenes were the only interesting ones.
Hoping for passable ratings, b/c this new timeslot feels right.September 25, 2011 at 9:09 pm #228690
I really liked this….no submission for anyone, but my favorite line was Alan Cumming’s..

I was so excited for this premiere that I would have liked anything. I mean, I literally screeched when I saw the slightly new opening credits. I don’t think any opinion I have would be valid.
That being said, I thought this was one of the more interesting court cases the show has done.
Does anyone notice how during season 1, the episode titles were for 1 word, and during season 2 and 3, they’re 2 and 3 words respectively? Or am I just late in picking that up!September 25, 2011 at 10:02 pm #228692
I assume that you mean that the titles last season were all two words. And yeah, that is pretty awesome.
The episode titles for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit were one word for the first twelve seasons, but are two words this year. I suppose that it is fitting with the other changes for the show.September 26, 2011 at 6:04 am #228693
This was a REALLY good premiere but not great. There’s something different, in a good way, about this show but I can’t place what it is.
Very interesting dynamic between all of the characters in this episode, I especially loved Diane acting as a mediator of sorts between everyone. Hope they explore that more.
With any other show the case this week would be a borefest, but as always the writers of “The Good Wife” elevate it well above any other procedural on TV.September 26, 2011 at 6:48 am #228694
This was an alright premiere but nothing more. I liked the Kalinda/Cary/that women who’s name I cannot remember dynamics. That was fun, I hope there will be more of this.September 26, 2011 at 2:49 pm #228695
It was alright. I liked the case, but the personal stuff was awkwardly placed IMO. No one stood out, maybe Alan Cumming. One thing I’m excited for are the guest stars, in particular Manica Raymond (Torres on ‘Lie to Me’) who I think will have an interesting character especially with the Cary/Kalinda… thing.

I liked it. But as with many other season premires, it was more “I like that they’re back” than the actual episode. I even lost interest a couple of times. I did like how they’re really turning Peter into a great bad guy with the ass-kisser that is Cary right behind him.
I’ll always love a show like this with so many cast members and not a bad character or performance in the bunch.September 26, 2011 at 5:59 pm #228697
I adore Cary and Kalinda. I hope they get together. The sparks will flySeptember 26, 2011 at 7:49 pm #228698

I really liked this premiere. With its new timeslot, I can finally watch it weekly. Alicia’s court case was the most interesting part of this episode. Alan Cumming is very good in this series, and I agree with OperaJunky, Alan Cumming’s line was HILARIOUS!

I finally saw this. I loved Cumming, he was hillarious.
Alicia and Will’s sex scene was great. a bit too much for Network tv, don’t you think?September 30, 2011 at 12:43 pm #228701

And for that timeslot! But a few years ago we saw Gabby getting all cougar and scandalous on Desperate Housewives. My point being is that if you are the show of the moment, I think you can get away w/more.
